After Hours is a great movie, Griffin Dunne is incredible in it. I also love that Scorsese used a song from Bad Brains in the club scene.
I recommended it to my daughter!
I'm gonna make a big confident call here and announce not one Bad Brains fan votes for Trump.
What do you reckon?
@@grimmertwin2148 I voted for him.
@@grimmertwin2148 I voted for him.
@@grimmertwin2148 For some reason my comment keeps disappearing, but I am a Bad Brains fan and I voted for him.
After Hours is one of my Top Ten favorite movies. ❤
Love you guys! I'm glad some SNL content got mentioned at the end. It's what I hope to hear about when I listen!
❤It's one of my favorite episodes! Absolutely fascinating 👏
This is REALLY good! Thanks fellers!
"The Graduate" is flawless.
After Hours is still one of my favourite comedies.
Who's that Girl is underrated. Griffin is hilarious in that
But Madonna is terrible with her fake, Betty Boop voice and ruins the film.
so was Rosanna
It was nice when Griffin got to speak. :)
both times
Was it?
Yep for as funny and interesting as these two can be they need to listen more than they talk.
I listen to two episodes every day of both Superfly and Fly on the Wall in the backyard.
(Dennis Miller voice)
"It's lookin' high-brow Oakmont Count'ry Club 'round here. Champagne flutes with Iron City Beer.... n'kay?" 🍺
Uh-kay
What a great interview. I love hearing guests do Lorne.
They are starting to sound like Hitchcock
I was just thinking about this guy yesterday because of AfterHours
🤗 Thank you. Have an awesome day.
Wow I was just talking about the relationship of After Hours, and Eyes Wide Shut, and boom. Here is this interview. Thanks.
"Texas trifecta" ha!😂
I was a kid in the 80s and such a huge Madonna fan so my first exposure to Griffin Dunne was of course ‘Who’s That Girl?’ - and omg he was so so funny and charming I just fell in love with him so hard 😅 He carried that film. I taped it off TV 📼📺
Talk about, “Take your broken heart and turn it into art.” (Meryl Streep) Excellent episode - and yes, the thumbnail is giving Steve Carell 😉
This guy was awesome in Johnny Dangerously
Your testicles and you is a great scene.
Enjoyed today!
Excellent interview ❤❤
I did a Checkov workshop also . It was all good until I triedto back the Enterprise up into the hangar . If you know the design- the rear view mirrors can't see past those long ass tube engines in the back.
Wish Dana would talk about his Khan with William Shatner on the revolving Enterprise restaurant.
Griffin is so interesting and this show was so good
I'm now watching After Hours and am on the scene where he gives her a shoulder massage. I've literally never cringed more watching anyone give anyone a shoulder massage before. I look forward to seeing what happens next. The way the computers look already surprised me.
Update: OMG when she asks him to touch her hair and he gets stuck in it. 😭
I just finished it. Griffin Dunne's performance is quite good and the way it's written is like a play with repeating locations, allowing for his performance to actually show, which is refreshing.
I’m laughing so hard about Ohio governor Mike Dewine’s response when asked about a half $1 million dark pool money bribery scheme..😂
Omg I’m still here ..
Carrie’s documentary “Bright Lights” has a great moment with Griffin
After Hours was very cool. 👍
I'll try to Cork it but episodes like this get me going and thinkin.....great...guest and show guys thank you,,I'm listening now to Dana go a little deep in his personal life and I love that part of them and always will support them if I can,I know the terror and it made us all stronger
I loved him in Johnny Dangerously
This guy had some huge balls
Amen!
great storyteller
Probably in the blood with 2 famous writers in the family. His dad, Dominic and his aunt, Joan Didion.
"She just needed some help in a particular area"
How can you have an almost street accident story with Dustin Hoffman screaming at you where he doesn’t say “I’m driving here!”
have you guys done one of these with John Goodman yet?
"search and destroy" (1995) starring Griffin Dunne w/ an allstar cast.
To follow my unofficial tradition, I'm commenting under this fresh new podcast, to show you all'ses guys'es my support, and to please the algorithm: "Please, algorithm, be pleased! If you please."
And, as an homage to a legendary character, I'd like to add: "Comment get some!".
Lastly, for you y'allzess who don't have a backlog of 30 Fly on the Wall podcasts - have a nice time listening to this one!
Huge griffin dunn fan.....i watch american werewolf about 2 or 3 times a year diring full moon stoner sessions. The films audio commentary has a lot of great stuff on it, ...didnt know about his dad or the carrie fischer stuff , pretty cool
I somehow knew he was going to say Dustin Hoffman.
Did he say he had Carrie for lunch?

Hi, D & D. Going back to David's funny story about the guy handing him a script bcs he;s a Leo. There's an interesting pcast up rn on Allison Dubois. Her guest Tom McMullan presents the subject in a fun way w.o. dumbing it down. Cheers to you both. Keep on keep'n on.
Wwhen AMERICAN WHEREWOLF IN N LONDON CAME OUT IÞ WAS ME AND MY FRIENDS FAVORITE MOVIE FOR MANY YEARS.... PROBABLY SEEN OVER 3DOZ TIMES
54:11
How bout the kid from that one movie?
Poor baby had to take a picture with Trump. I guess we're supposed to feel sorry for him....
Dana says "I" "me" "my" "mine" as frequently as Trump does, but Trump says "we" and "our" more.
Kind words for Madonna though. 😅
Why did Griffin Dunne participate?
You answered your own questions instead of letting him speak.
Stay out the moors, stick to the path, and beware the moon.
I had never heard of this simple murder with the bizarre trial. The judge in particular was quite the vain douchenozzle.
I only knew Griffin Dunne from his amazing turn in ”American Werewolf in London.”
Canadian… can we get some Nick Swardson on here and laugh? What’s next? Jackie Earl Haley?
I fell asleep last night at 6 minute mark. Let's see what happens tonight. Im at 17:00 and lying down now. Pia Zadora? What? Still sounding lame.
Now we are listening to a privileged, almost unknown dude talk about his father, a privileged dude and what a hero he was. This is awful. I have heroic stories, no privilege. Bring the funny.
the Pia story in Anne Frank was very funny. “She’s in the attic!”
Crist sakes. Who is this guy?
Joe Frank.
If ya know, you know…
I dunno who this is...
Wow funny
You could at very least Wiki him.
I listened until Dunne’s cheap shot at Trump.
Nepo on the wall
stupid comment
Id love to see a bit where dana and dave play justin beibers cool uncles on his absentee fathers side of the family. Theyve got the same hair game lol.but the zinger is itd be played as joe dirt and garth and theyre really his imaginary friends .
Didn't like this one....RACK EM
Pronouncing ing as een is bad enough but "Werewoof" Dana?
Lord. Disappointed in this guy. Very dull poseur. Sad when people need to feel important. Must be a business as tough as they say. Respected his father’s writing.
David mentions the Menendez brotherswith what I know now I say we all got that wrong.do you believe their story but the fact was their parents were monsters, wealthy but monsters or maybe that's b u t t
David should say something other than “Interesting”. It sounds like he thinks it’s boring and uninteresting.
Because David is boring and uninteresting.
David is boring, but very interesting
David's a comedian, he has more social skills than you me and your crazy uncle combined, dude, cmon.
@@braziliantexatlantis7485 his dark online secrets you mean?
@@jjthesavage They delete my comments about dirty Davey. haha But Dana sucks too. so arrogant and competitive with story time.
