Great job on the Three Little Chicks in their house of sticks with mom and dad too!

Thanks Roger! 😁 I'm so glad the hurricanes didn't "blow their house of sticks down!"

Michelle this is just incredible footage!! Never seen baby blues before! Always on the lookout for them and we even get a few up on Lake Winnipesaukee in the summer. Very special birds.

Thank you! So glad you enjoyed watching...they sure are entertaining! I just hope the littlest of the three chicks will make it. Sadly, it gets pecked at daily and can't get as much to eat as the other two, but it keeps hanging in there!

It really amazes me how you are able to get such great shots of nests and baby birds. I'm sure it is no easy feat! It's always difficult for me to see the littlest baby picked on by the bigger siblings, but the little one is holding in there. It might just make it. I love its cute woe begone "haircut". My first instinct is to take the little guy home and look after him, but everyone has their own life to live and own journey to travel no matter how difficult and unfair it might seem....... Thank you for another great video, showing us a glimpse into the life of these very beautiful interesting birds. Have a wonderful day! 😊🎄😊

Unless something happens to their nests, the birds will generally use them from year to year, so I always keep my eyes on them in the spring. This little family is very late having their chicks, but this may be there second clutch. The trail was closed for a few months in the summer and then again resulting from the hurricanes in the fall, so its possible their first clutch didn't make it (same thing happened last year). I love your descriptions of the littlest chick! I watched the nest again today and there are still 3, so I keep hoping the littlest one can keep holding its own! Hope you're having a pleasant weekend! 😀
