Since there are people in the comments asking how to play and I hope others get to enjoy this game as much as I do:
-Make your base navigable. I like to place a road around my center as soon as the game begins, and roads in front of gates so I don't accidentally block them.
-Level up your caption as much as possible. I try to always have them fighting, after a few levels they can take a large portion of the horde out with just themselves.
-Remember to keep up with your ship modules, they can be a major source of effort, even half of your productions, and the guns tear through hordes.
-Build a barracks early. groups of 3 troopers can hold off most stray goo that attack between waves.
-Find the crystals and mountains around your base and build defenses in between them, much easier than trying to build turrets all around your base.
The visual style seems pretty annoying. Taking that much damage because the enemies are hard to see is not really an interesting game element.
As horrible as the visual clarity is, the game is actually great. Played a ton of the demo, the game is relatively hard, but also very rewarding when you finally get further.
Oh, I love the vibe of this. Feels like something from the early 00's , and hopefully the trance/drone soundtrack is there to stay
This sounds like creeper world
Honestly gave me they were billions vibe.
Grouping up your units was so frustrating to me 😅
Cool looking game, got some of the fun they are billions vibes mixed with old C&C which is pretty cool.
this game reminds me of an older game called "Utopia: The Creation of a Nation" I played way back on the snes
Reminds me of they are billions. I loved that game so it's kinda like i'm fine with this :P
If Wander is going to play this again please note that the housing annex of 1:10:40 was what blocked not just your main forces pathing to the horde that ended you but also it forced the new recruits you did order to try path out of your base for a unaliving run.
Thank you for showing off this game I didn't know about it. I just wishlisted it
feels like unbalanced game , the enemy rush moment
How did you set the travel path for the sky ranger?
the problem he never divides and scatters the troops.
does the ship act like meta progression, that's fun
edit:(nevermind)
can anyone teach me how to play this game please i want to learn but i coudnt figure
Seems like you need to play this somewhat like they are billions
People saying, The visuals are Bad, While i hate how hard it is, You Research the gun turret woth enough Energy Storage In hope it clears Atleast one wave, in the end dying instantly How dissapointing
Just get good
@@danieljensen6154 mf You Prob cant do it either or Tell me how You do it Tell me every step cuz i wanna try win but cant Not even on easiest Settings, also i almost won But got the Brain modifier so i lost
@@NK-Mobile which difficulty you trying
@@danieljensen6154 i am doing from easy to Hardest but i cant even Beat Easy
@@NK-Mobile I can now do settler without too much worry. You’re just trying to get as far down the tech tree as you can to unlock some of the broken techs. Expand so you can get geysers and pumps, build boat loads of houses and research
The game looks as if it could be really great...
But as it is it is way too finicky. Placing buildings and unit AI need a lot of work, and the ship part seems disjointed from the rest of the game with no real connection between the two parts.
It’s so easy just to forget the ship exists lol, I didn’t even use it my first few losses
@@danieljensen6154 So there IS a use..
@@MirageGSM don’t get me wrong, I’ve only recently realised it’s essential to getting a strong win
You are not very good at this game are you wander? Grouping up your units was the main mistake also missing like 99% of the attacks before they happend was the other thing that killed you. Also the severe lack of scouting
You are not very good at socializing are you vid101.? Starting off with a rude remark was the main mistake also missing like 99% of the standards of an engaging and constructive conversation was the other thing that gave it away. Also the severe lack of thinking your comment through
If that sounded mean to you congratulations you've started learning conversational awarness and should strive to use it in the future and not berate a guy who just wants to have fun and gives you content FOR FREE lol
@@flamingice3085 perhaps it was a bit rude however it was also the truth. At least wonder is decent at learning so iI am positive he could succeed on his next attempt
@@flamingice3085 He is right tho. Wanderbots is not very good at this game.
@edtazrael yeah but that's to be expected when you don't play a lot of RTS types at a high level. I mean he played a lot of creep world but that doesn't really deal with micro managing units like this one
Being right isn't really an excuse for being rude tho tbf
