Who tf would think of get 5% on the windshield ur asking for trouble fr fr
20% is still too dark on the windshield! Makes it hard to see at night! 35% and up is better for the windshield and then all ya gotta do is get the darkest on the sides and back and even double it if need be. So for me I'd do double 5% and 35% in the front!

20% on the windshield is insane. I already got pulled over within the first week of tinting my car 5% around and 30% on the windshield down in FL. Did you get pulled over yet for dark tint?
Yo your car doesnt remote start after a couple times i think here and there you gotta manually turn it on by pressing the start button
I stick with 30% and it looks fine and great at night. 5% is taking a big risk

How's visibility at night? in the rain? poorly lit areas?
I have no problem with it at night. It’ll take some getting used to by all my cars have had dark tint so I’m used to it.

I have 15% ceramic on the sides and 50% ceramic windshield.
I have 45 on my windshield.. 20 on sides measuring out at 15% bout to go to 5 all around and keep windshield the same.. in full sun I don’t like that you can see through my windows

I’m sure I’ll get clowned for writing this. I’m looking to get my windows tinted. I like the look of it being dark, but I don’t want to deal with getting pulled over.
Also that dark of a windshield is dangerous based on the research I’ve done. Hard to see at night etc
What are the reasons people do this? Other than that they think it looks good and can’t see in?

Pretty much 3 reasons. Medical reasons skin cancer ect.., looks, and privacy. If you don't want to be bothered a good tint would be windshield 50 percent and 35 percent
People tint the windshield because it makes the side tints darker, having no tint on the windshield fills the cabin with light.
It really is all opinions, if you have bad eyes and are older 5% looks like a black wall compared to the kid with 20/20 vision who can see through it; if you got bad eyes get light tint if you can see very well 5% can work for you
