Caleta residents weigh in on the large developments coming to the area

Catalan Bay is generally considered a beautiful place, but - with large developments on either side of it - it’s changing.
On Gibraltar Today, residents gave GBC mixed views about the changes.

What a pity that run down hotel was pulled down and that ugly pile of rubble is to be replaced with a modern marina.
Whatever next ? A clean tidy promenade with palm trees... ? Shocking

yes it’s quite shocking. The rubble mountain has been a valued and loved feature of the local landscape for decades now. Complimented of course by abandoned beaten up old cars in the car park. Will be sad to see all this disappear in favour of a high end new marina with lots of attractions.
