Man I remember when the props were only 4 blades. And they were built in Bethpage Long Island, they tested the radomes out east in Calverton, LI.

This is an E-2D Hawkeye.
The + symbol on the nose identifies it as an E-2C. France doesn't fly the E-2D.
Is there a warning system that indicates your wings aren’t down and locked?
@@UAL320 Yes. A small flag on top of each nacelle (just behind the prop). Flag down, wings locked.
@@yxeaviationphotog Actually, the plus indicates the larger, more powerful T56 427 engine on the E-2C. E-2C used two types of engines in those days. The 427 and the 425.
