  • In this special episode, we embark on a magickal journey through the Wheel of the Year, exploring the eight sacred sabbats that shape the witch's calendar. From the introspective energy of Samhain to the vibrant celebrations of Beltane, we delve into the ways we personally celebrate each festival.
PLEASE NOTE: This video represents our initial exploration of the Wheel of the Year. Since recording, we've learned so much more from your feedback and recognise the need for further research on our part. We look forward to revisiting the Wheel of the Year in a future episode. Thank you for your insights and support!

My patron God is Lucifer. I celebrate Samhain and Yule with/in honor of Lord Lucifer. It’s an incredible time to get in touch with his duality and work with both his light and dark aspects.

Watching this shortly after Lughnasadh and the new moon. Enjoyed this, especially the idea of how celebrating the Wheel of the Year changes one's perspective on harder times of the year for the better. I am especially loving Lughnasadh this year because my garden is providing so many wonderful medicinal and magickal herbs, and blackberries are abundant right now! I love making corn dollies, and this year I baked yeast bread for the first time and it's WONDERFUL!

For Mabon we have a thankful candle where each family member has a different color wax and we take turns pouring out wax on top of the candle while saying what we're thankful for. It's one of my favorite traditions and great for families.

Watching this just before Lughnasadh is so special to me as I am at a year of my practice and Lughnasadh was the first sabbath I celebrated AND joining The Coven after a year of solitary practice feels so special (big thank you to Lizzy for giving me the push to join, my solar sister!) The Wheel of the Year, I think, is such a great way to start a practice as it feels easy to understand, research, and be active with, it definitely guided me through my year of practice! I can't wait to sit in on my first coven sabbath celebration!!! Fabulous podcast as always ladies! 🤍🌾

Ya! You're back! To me, the Wheel of the Year is a pagan thing. I am both a witch and a pagan but I keep them separate mostly do to being a witch first. Samhain and Yule are my two favorite times/holidays! I have been trying to create my own WOTY because I live in Arizona and most of the beliefs, practices and myths are from Europe. Spring weather lasts between a week to a month, Summer lasts for SUCH a long time (many of our Halloweens are 90+ degrees). Autumn weather lasts I would say pretty much the whole 3 months and Winter is pretty close to 3 mSpirits. I mostly celebrate in some form the equinoxes, solstices and Samhain. I have heard that Belanes thin vail is for the fairies and Samhains thin vail is for the spirits.

Hi Dylan, yes we haven’t gone anywhere hehe!
We also feel it is part of witchcraft practise as well. As our witchcraft is all about being connected to the seasons and honouring the earth as well, it makes sense to us to honour these parts of the year as part of our practise. It also comes down to cultural traditions as well, as we’re British, a lot of these celebrations stem from Celtic, Scottish, Norway, Iceland - which is part of our ancestry too and we don't feel there is anything wrong with embracing these and keeping our ancestors traditions alive 🖤

Hello!!! I’m a big fan of the podcast with a desperate request for advice!!
I’m a student in college running a witchcraft club! The previous president graduated and I have taken up their role.
However, I feel very unprepared to be a mentor and someone to look to for guidance, as I don’t feel like I have enough experience or knowledge!
Do you have any advice on running a witchcraft group? How can I help people to grow when I also feel I am a beginner?
Thank you so much!! 💞💞💞 I appreciate all that you do to make the witchcraft community a fun, wonderful, inviting, and educational place!
(anyone else can answer as well!)
