I have all the games in this series, and I have played through all of them, but not with every expansion. Some of them have a lot of fiddly-ness and I'm not sure I would recommend them. my preferences in order: 1. Onirim (play the app, or only play with a card shuffler.) 2. Nautillion (the roll and move mechanic is really interesting, expansions help) 3. Aerion (airship yahtzee) 4. Castellion (easy setup, neat puzzle, actually like this one alot and I tend to play it more than some other ones. so I should probably put it higher on this list.) 5. Urbion (easy setup, quick gameplay) 6. Stellarion (Deck diving game, better with expansions, y'all mentioned that. also kind of fiddly with the shuffling.) 7. Slyvion (Tower defense, not a bad game, but there are better tower defense games out there, also fiddly)
I've played the Onirim app which I love and also own Aerion and Sylvion. Aerion is my favourite of the physical copies I own, I really enjoy the dice mechanic to it. Sylvion I've only played the base game so far and found it impossible to beat - I've read its one where you really do need to add the expansions and these make it slightly more achievable so I need to give that a go soon! Would love to see you do a play through of all of them!
YES!!! So thrilled you are doing solo playthrough and reviews. It is really hard finding good solo reviews for games that are not the heavy campaign miniature type games such as Mage Knight etc, that are more often reviewed. Please do more! Your explanations are also so great.
I have Onirim and Equilibrion. I love the backstory behind the designer of these games. Shady Torbey is an opera singer who was often traveling for his work, so he basically invented these games to pass the time when he was in the bus/train or plane. That's why they work well as solo games. And that is also why his world, the oniverse, is built on something a little bit different than the standard science-fiction / fantasy / trading in the mediterranean that we often see in boardgames (especially at the time Onirim came out, I remember thinking that this theme of being in a dream was very new, at least to me)
Whaaat! That's awesome, I wasn't aware of the backstory. Thanks for sharing that. I just read that he'll be releasing a new version of Urbion/Equilibrion next year 🎊
I've been a fan of Onirim for years and I've liked most of the Oniverse games, but I have sold all the others besides Onirim over the years too. Stellarion is the first one that actually gets very close to Onirim for me. It's just the almost perfect puzzle of figuring out stuff and probabilities from the decks and then deciding on which ability you should use etc! A brilliant game!
Great video! I just was watching and you taught me how to play the game easily, and just finished two plays at lunch! Aerion was my first, and really great! I have onirim, aerion, and now stellarion. Aerion is definitely a similar table hog, but a lot of fun! I started with Onirim on the mobile app, and recently got the physical form. Yes it is shuffle simulator, but there is something about actually playing with the cards I love even more. Plus you get to experience some of the expansions the app doesn't support.
Love these solo playthroughs!! I’d love to see more, especially since I’m starting to get more curious about solo gaming. I’d love to see the rest of these little Oniverse games- they look like ones I could easily pull out during the kids nap time!
Thank you for the solo playthrough, entertaining to watch and the game looks like a fun little solitaire game. I noted two small mistakes during the playthrough just to highlight in case anyone else spots them and is confused: 21:25 you move the delta deck planet from the delta deck to the planet deck discard, 23:20 you have a major star power but only use it on the star deck and could have used it a second time (this may have been intentional and tactical, I'm not certain).
Stellarion was accidentally shipped to me in an order I placed for a couple of other games and the company said I could just keep the game. It's still in shrink, but now that I've seen it played maybe I'll give it a try. I think I'm most interested in the Glaucous Sun expansion. The mirror cards look like a challenging puzzle too. I have yet to play any of the games in this series. If you had the time (and interest), I'd love to see a brief comparison video of all the games in the series. Thanks for posting!
Loved the playthrough! A nice change of pace, although I do enjoy watching both of you going head to head on competitive games 🤣 My wife and I really like Onirim 2p, with the expansion for door order as mandatory for it to make a difference in strategy. Cheers, keep up the good work!
I've only played a few games that are designed specifically for solo play, and Onirim is one of them. It is so hard! But, also really fun and I love the art. Friday is a good one, but also wicked hard. I'd love to see you give that one a try (not that I'm wishing misery on you or anything lol). Thanks for the fun playthrough and I look forward to seeing more of them in the future.
I'd love to see more solo playthroughs! Would be great to see the rest of the Oniverse series, as well as others such as Resist!, Maquis, and Warp's Edge
My favorite is Sylvion. The drafting rules are great! You should seek out the Below Ground promo pack for it, it's a great addition! The same goes for Onirim, the promo expansions Mirrors, and Sphinx, Diver and Confusion are great! Castellion is a tile laying game, and Nautilion a roll-and-move with a twist, and Aerion is a mix of cards and dice.
You are great teacher of rules and your gameplays give feeling of the game to us and this is exacly what I am looking. I am sure you will do it perfectly also in upcoming solos. I hope you can run also heavy euros with automa. Nevertheless looking forward to all 😀
I've only played the app version of Onirim (it's so addictive!). Love the solo gaming content! Please do more! Also would love to know your personal ranking of the Oniverse.
For the last launch action at 25:48, you could've also used the 3 beta cards along with the shooting star token instead of using a Nebula power to bring back the beta-Star
Hi, it's me again, you probably don't remember anyway kkkkkkk. I Would love to see a decent solo playthrough of UNBROKEN, I really love it and nobody knows this game. Love all your videos, especially the Uwe series.
Aw thank you! Unbroken sounds super interesting btw, and only plays in about 15-30 minutes. That sounds pretty sweet! I will look into it. Thanks for the recommendation!
Lovely series. Monique, you should take a look at Legacy of Yu. I am super charmed by this game and going through the campaign savouring the joy., There are a bit of spoilers there but you can go through the campaign in 1 or 2 videos a month. Each game is 40 minutes to an hour and it's super fun. Check it out ;)
Have you played any games in the Oniverse series? If so, which are your favorites?
Aerion! Love that one because you get to build ships and try your luck on the dice.
I have all the games in this series, and I have played through all of them, but not with every expansion. Some of them have a lot of fiddly-ness and I'm not sure I would recommend them.

1 Sylvion >2 Aerion>3 Onirim >4 Castellion >5 Nautilion for me. I have not played Stellarion/Urbion as of yet.

Would love to see more solo playthroughs!
I'll definitely do more =) Thank you!
Nautillion is my favorite of the series, and it’s best with all the expansions added.
And I vote for playthroughs of all the games 🖤

@@BeforeYouPlay ruclips.net/video/Ny6-yze1h2k/видео.html that's him.
Love the solo play content!
Thank you!
I would like to see Onirim playthrough, both base and expansions.
Maybe for one of the expansion combined all the expansions together.
I've been a fan of Onirim for years and I've liked most of the Oniverse games, but I have sold all the others besides Onirim over the years too. Love your videos Monique (and Naveed)! Such a cozy vibe. Such clear and concise playthroughs.
Thank you!

haha thanks so much for catching these! The second part was absolutely not intentional/strategic, i must have forgotten lol. Thanks!
Thanks for this great review, teach and play-through. Any and everything you wanted to know about this. :P
More solos!
Stellarion was accidentally shipped to me in an order I placed for a couple of other games and the company said I could just keep the game. Oh that's a nice surprise! I will probably do a ranking video for all of them. They're so cute haha. Thanks James!
Loved the playthrough! A nice change of pace, although I do enjoy watching both of you going head to head on competitive games 🤣
My wife and I really like Onirim 2p, with the expansion for door order as mandatory for it to make a difference in strategy.
Cheers, keep up the good work!
Getting the game tomorrow. I love Onirim and this Puzzle also looks interesting.
Love the solo playthroughs!!!
Thank you!

Oh yes, Friday is quite hard! haha. Just like Onirim. Great game tho! Thanks so much!
I have seen these games, but never played. They are intriguing. Thank you for the play through!
Thank you!
I'd love to see an Oniverse solo playthrough series with a wrap-up video at the end, in the same manner you guys do the designer series
This is a great idea!
I'd love to see more solo playthroughs! Would be great to see the rest of the Oniverse series, as well as others such as Resist!, Maquis, and Warp's Edge

I've played Aerion, Castellion, and Onirim. Aerion is my favorite.
oooh that's exciting!
I've only played the app version of Onirim (it's so addictive!). Love the solo gaming content! Please do more! Also would love to know your personal ranking of the Oniverse.
Thank you! I'll definitely do a personal ranking at some point
For the last launch action at 25:48, you could've also used the 3 beta cards along with the shooting star token instead of using a Nebula power to bring back the beta-Star
Cyberion next would be great!
Hi, it's me again, you probably don't remember anyway kkkkkkk. I Would love to see a

Agreed this would be an excellent choice for a solo playthrough

I'm interested to try other games in the Oniverse! I've played and enjoyed Onirim, Sylvion, and Aerion, with Aerion being my favorite
Oooh I see that one has dice! I think another one is coming out this year too
I personally like very much Urbion, the second game of the Oniverse series.
Aww that's one of the ones i'm missing! hah. I'll have to try it
Bruhhh, I've been playing wrong all this time. When I launch I put all cards used for the launch aside and they are never used again.
Lovely series. Monique, you should take a look at Legacy of Yu. I am super charmed by this game and going through the campaign savouring the joy., There are a bit of spoilers there but you can go through the campaign in 1 or 2 videos a month. Thanks Terry! I've been very curious about that title, actually! I'll look into possibly covering it. Thanks so much!
Not sure this game appeals to me, though the last variant with the board and meteors looks interesting.
