I knew I recognized the notes. It's Vigil's theme from Mass Effect 1. Just now while I was playing the Legendary Edition I came to this again after so many years. I've forgotten about this. But now it's there again. A beautiful piece.
I know how to play this on the piano! I remembered the scene when Shepard heard liara play this song and kissed in the end of the cutscene. One of my most favorite romance scenes of liara.
I've seen things that you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire on the edge of the Citadel. I watched Mass Relays glittering in the dark on the gate of the Sol System. All these moments, lost in time...like tears in the rain. End of an era, gentlemen.
