Fantastic news! I initially held a 500 visa and later transitioned to a 482 (short-term) visa with dependents for the same employer. Knowing there's a four-day window to transition to a 186 visa is excellent-it's a significant cost-saving advantage for us. Much appreciated!

Awesome. Could you do more videos about 482/186 visa for Aged care workers please?

I'm on 482 visa sponsored by my previous employer. I was with them for 8 months and then a couple of months ago, I transferred to another company which took over as sponsor. That first 8 months, will that be considered part of the 2 year period before I can apply for PR or not?
Also someone told me I can apply for PR (w/o company sponsor) after only a year of working here in Australia, is that correct? Thanks in advance.
