JT Mechanical inc. My customer like this really easy and fast setup. I have setup a few of these now and got nothing but good reviews. I like this product and I will be using it a whole lot more. We or located in California where we have very strict watering days. This helps out all of my elderly folks I work for. Thanks again to whoever put this kit together.👍
Missing something...ON the right position setting; if it is not lined up where you want it, how do you change the right trip point, the arc adjustment can rteduce he arc but it does not fix the right alignment trip point.....what am I missing ^
I always end up twisting the entire sprinkler body until the “home” position is lined up with the edge of where I want the water to stop and go from there.
How do we set the position of the spray nozzle for stop and start positions so that its facing the direction you want. You only show turning it to the left to a click then turning it to the right. After that you show what appears to be the degree of rotation adjustment with the tool. You guys need provide better instructions and stop leaving important steps/information out. I guess I am going to have to screw the body to whatever rotation I need to get proper coverage and hope I don't brake the riser tube. P.S. The only reason i bought this product was because of the stated 52' coverage. Otherwise I would have stuck with my K2 Smart-Set heads. And no, that was not a plug for K2, just want people to know there are better products with better videos and instructions.
Absolutely agree! And no one is replying to our comments. I am guessing either they couldn't care less about their customers or they want to give installers a chance make some income from doing the work for us customers.
Twist the entire sprinkler body left or right such that the entire sprinkler rotates on the 3/4in threaded (male to female) connection at bottom of sprinkler.
🤣 If you stick it in the 3rd hole and twist, you can pull the riser shaft out to change your nozzle. Now you know what the 3rd hole is for, 7 years later...
Thanks for leaving out to set the starting point for all the subsequent adjustments! How do you set the right side stop/beginning rotation position? A real world outdoor video would be a major improvement in the presentation.
Appears easy to adjust when there's no water spraying out of the nozzle, but very tricky when the sprinkler is rotating left and right with water coming out under pressure. When trying to adjust the distance, my plastic nozzle blew off, and I couldn't find it. Sprinkler head should be redesigned so the user could see and change the angle and distance by turning dials/knobs somewhere on the Voyager II with water off even before sprinkler head is installed. I've used this product in the past and worked fine once adjusted.
Except I do not have a key because I did not install this brand with its proprietary adjustment device. So now I get to replace all the Orbit units in both my yards. Happy day. Thanks Orbit.
Hey man, how do you actually adjust the span in action showing the water flowing. How do you remove the nozzle sizes? Are you adjusting with the water flowing so you can actually see where the water is covering or what? Why don't you actually show it man?
I didn't really need the :30 infomercial at the beginning. I already bought the Voyager II and know how to get the others if I need them. The video just covers what the instruction sheet included with the sprinkler shows. I was hoping to learn how to change nozzles. BTW, given there are over 30K views, maybe put some more effort into designing the sprinkler to be more intuitive to adjust. I did find it "incredibly easy" to insert the adjustment key through the cap, but it wasn't so easy to get the pattern I wanted.
Would have been better if you explained that over doing the adjustment would make the screw fall out with the nozel, basically breaking it until you can buy another screw.
I have a brand new unit, I've only tested spray nozzles and patterns with it a few times. Somehow, when I attempt to unscrew from the base the spring seems to be hung on something, perhaps some of the gear internals. I have to pull with a lot of force and eventually it will pop out but it feels like something will end up breaking if it the spring continues to get hung up each time.
You don't show how to adjust either the left or right pattern starting point. I've lost the instructions and my adjustable head, set to about 90 degrees, has over time, migrated about 15 degrees to the right. Was hoping this video would show how to correct that, not just show how to make the arc larger or smaller.
might be where you can insert the flat end of the tool, turn it 90 degrees then be able to lift the head up against the spring pressure ? (water pressure does this when running)
just bough two of these. I followed the instructions for pattern adjustment and got no result. Came for a video demonstration and realized I did it right. I think these things are just crap. Both of them remain in the 180 degree preset
What dies this tell us? Not much, I could read the manual and know this. Do the adjustment and then show us what it does... it's a video for crying out loud, what a waste of time video.
This useless video just tells what is in the written instructions with are mediocre at best. So I set the angle to 180 degrees of that, 90 degrees is watering the lawn the other 90 of the 180 it's watering the street. NOWHERE does it tell you how to change the starting point.
ORBIT Rotary..... without doubt the WORST rotary sprinklers on the market. Lose your proprietary tool and you are skrood. MUCH better are the K1 and K2 rotary sprinklers, they use a screwdriver to adjust! Only takes a second, and no special tool to lose. They also last longer and spray better than the ORBIT brand. I have no ties to K sprinklers, they are just superior.

Totally agree😢
you supposed to unscrew the sprinkler and reposition it facing the way you want it,I know six years later😂
To set it the way you want it facing the lawn you need to take the sprinkler apart and reposition it.
Twist the entire sprinkler body left or right such that the entire sprinkler rotates on the 3/4in threaded (male to female) connection at bottom of sprinkler.
With the risk of sounding totally inappropriate, what is the third hole for?
🤣 If you stick it in the 3rd hole and twist, you can pull the riser shaft out to change your nozzle. Now you know what the 3rd hole is for, 7 years later...
@@JRTuttle4 I still didnt know--until now! If the issue had come up, I would have googled it but it hasnt --in 7 years! Lol.
Thank you!
I'd like to see a spray pattern diagram for each of the different nozzle sizes. I don't really have the time to change out each nozzle to find out.
did u get an answer? i am looking for this too
Same here!

Hope you didn't replace it with Orbit; being that you have to have their special key for adjustments, ugh.
Hey man, how do you actually adjust the span in action showing the water flowing. How do you remove the nozzle sizes?

That was such a casual catch haha!
Is the adjustment tool for the orbit the same as for the hunter pgp? It looks identical
Would have been better if you explained that over doing the adjustment would make the screw fall out with the nozel, basically breaking it until you can buy another screw.
Didnt tell us how to adjust the range of motion.
What he said is distance adjustment is really the retaining screw on the nozzle. I turned counter clockwise and blew out the nozzle.
You loosened the screw that holds the nozzle in , wrong screw

Is this the same too used with Hunter rotors? Thanks
How do I adjust to 360 degrees?
You don't show how to adjust either the left or right pattern starting point. Unscrew the cap and remove the sprinkler stem from the canister. twist the stem 15 degrees and screw back in.
What exactly does that do? Does it change the start position by 15 degrees?
Wow: Looks a lot like the Rainbird SA series, adjust like the SA series and waters like the SA series.
What is the "lifter socket". I see it on top of head but no mention in directions??
might be where you can insert the flat end of the tool, turn it 90 degrees then be able to lift the head up against the spring pressure ?

K. Brandon Ironside . I beleve ypu are correct.

A WARNING about over turning the distance screw: you can kill the sprinkler by over turning it in EITHER DIRECTION! Be careful
How to make it stop and start at a specific point? There are no left or right arrows.
How about an actual field demonstration. Put your work cloths on and get in the field
Does the green cap come off? The set screwis plugged so the wrench won’t fit to adjust it.
PRO TIP: Use a Torx#10 to adjust. Common issue with dirt in the screw head. Torx will fit in and adjust.
tem um dia de trabalho de. Orbit que eu vou ver com a minha amiga tem que ir no mercado
So this can be buried in the ground?
Can you adjust it while irs running?
Yes.
why do you guys always put your logo right on the picture of what I'm trying to see? it seems like everywhere I go it's the same thing.
Do they work on water pressure that is around 40 psi?
no
1:01 "comes with professional tool" What exactly dose that mean, I am a homeowner, not s profrshiasl so does that mean I cannot use the tool?
Uh no. They just say everything is professional :) You can order that part or go to Home Depot and get one when you buy heads, usually included.
@@DylBuilder1 I know, just hoping an Orbit person sees that and understand how stupid that term is. I hate marketing buzz words.
@@tinaleanne8230 Yep me too!
I want the voyager ii with a stake so I don’t have to install it underground
Good catch!
I gotta question. Why didn't you answer any questions about the product?
👎 👎🏿 😞
Didn't mention if its left stop or right stop.
Bought a new one because the old one was leaking at the top. The new one is doing the same thing.
Hey ORBIT, because you have to have your special key, and because I lost mine, I switched my sprinklers to another brand. Shezzz.
These are NOT easy to adjust. Not even
almost helpful
Horribly lacking simplicity
What a misleading and lack of important information.
Incomplete
You don't even explain whether it is the right or left side that increases or decreases the radius. Terrible.
What dies this tell us? Not much, I could read the manual and know this. Do the adjustment and then show us what it does... it's a video for crying out loud, what a waste of time video.

This is not the orbit of voyager 2 lol
Need to be able to set patttern. You talk too fast. And do not discuss 45, 90 or q80 degree patterns terrible video😢
I have purchased 3 that are a pos at least I know to stay away from these
1:07 to skip the nonsense.
