There are few places where we get to watch true greatness, the kind where there’s a few people who are the best in the world and one man leaves them in the dust. Max Verstappen in F1, Levan Saginashvili in arm wrestling, and Mitch in strongman. The thing Mitch also gives us is he’s such a good guy we get to be super happy it’s him doing it

Have been watching strongman since about 2000, I have never found an athlete I connect with and root for as much as I do Mitch. Love your work ethic, your values as a human being, your mindset (plus the fact you’re just a ridiculous athlete). Was there at Royal Albert Hall and the axle world record lift was the best live sporting moment I have ever been a part of.
The fact that you bring snacks to share with your seat neighbors says a lot about you. What a standup guy

WOW that 2nd lift was perfection!!! So happy to see you succeed and I have to say I'm happy to see someone who is truly so kind succeed. It feels like the majority of the time it's the opposite type of people who are succeeding- and those people often are the most popular. I don't understand things today.
Let's get that to a t-shirt mitch! Great job moose, and please remember, you don't just bring entertainment, you're bringing motivation and so much more to all of us regardless if you are as strong as you're now. As someone who relatively recently got into lifting, your history of trying out all those sports is the true inspiration for me, to not limit yourself to certain things and explore the world of athleticism. I have been watching strong man since the 70s since Bryan has retired Mitchell. I am voting for you. Routing rooting for you. You're very humble and extremely strong. It's funny you don't look that strong. But you're as strong as anybody ever.So keep up the good work and I will be rooting for you all the best to your fatherhood

(46 years old newbie, working toward 200kg main lifts, 150 bench ((long way to go)) and 100kg overhead, started the normal level of weak).

I am a tom stoltman fan and i love your videos but.....to see someone like yourself smash these events month in and month out as a sort of rival makes me very happy for the sport and what you bring to it. I know tom will be fired up and you've kept him on his toes and a bit of wake up for him to push harder in training for the next event,proud of ya big man for everything you've done for the sport.

It was my first year paying for the show, streaming it that is. I picked the best year to do it. It was awesome watching the world record be broke, and the crowd react. I got a phone call from work, probably about two minutes later, that I got a promotion. One of those weird things when stuff happens it and makes it something to remember.
Even just watching the livestream from home, that moment was electric. Congratulations

I was there on saturday night and Mitchell is being very humgle here. His words and the audio do not do it justice the royal albert hall absolutely erupted when he hit that lift and EVERYONE was on thier feet screaming at the top of their lungs it was just amazing the atmosphere in there. One of the greatest nights ive ever had

Awesone lift, congratulation! You have many great years ahead of you. I competed for more then 20 years but now it's 15 years ago. I can't lift the weights i used to but i'm in good shape still. Enjoy every moment.

Great job on the WR Mitch! No matter where you go from here, you've already left permanent, positive imprint on strongman and the greater community. If I was to give you a challenge now, it would be to turn that imprint into a legacy, i.e. something that will continue to inspire people long after you've left the sport. Also, I think those socks probably were worth +10 kilos on that lift 💪

So is this the same lift Eddie did in 17’? Or is there a diff. Category. ?? Like push press vs strict lift. Huge difference unfortunately
