  • In the early Heian period, Jikan Daishi Ennin established this area as a sacred place for the protection of the Toguan Shrine at the request of Emperor Seiwa, built Fudo-do in the mountains, and enshrined Fudo Myo-o.
In 1779 (Yasunaga 8), the Dainichi-do, the Great Master's Hall, the mountain gate, the guest hall, the monk's monastery, etc. were burned down in one fell swoop, but due to the tireless efforts of successive residents, it gradually turned toward reconstruction, and since the 1975 (Showa 50) generation, the construction of the five-storied pagoda, Dainichi-do, Horinkaku, Okuden, Daishi-do, Seiten-do, etc. has been successively inherited and the temple has come to have a view of the temple that surpasses the past.
    Location: 733 Takahata, Hino-shi, Tokyo
