So ever since you did the sE Neom review I've pretty much thought that's the one to go for if USB is a must for some reason - like a pared down travelling kit - and this hasn't changed my mind. I had strongly considered the Tula (arguably sounds closest to a 416) but despite being a great package it's just too prone to plosives. The one other USB I would consider in the top tier would be the Rode NT-USB+ (the original sounded too "thin" IMO). I know you probably want to add another USB mic to your collection like a hole in the head but I'd really love to hear it vs the Neom. Props for including the Videomic Go II as well. While I don't love its sound it can be improved with EQ and I love the simplicity and affordability of using a few of these on a podcast with the Connect software. And its "warm & fuzzy" sound does remind me of the SM7B.
I've recently bought a 512 Audio Tempest for a pretty reasonable price (80$), now watching this video, I can surely say, it was a good decision to buy it :)
Sir i am just going to buy a mic for recording watching your previous vedios for instrument and vocal , i am goingfor AKG ara ,am i choosing the best? Please sujjest sir🥺 i am really noob in it and so confusing.please sujjest which will be the best for singing , after your reply i am going to buy it Love from india❤️❤️
@creators village, Just watched your video on add feature to publish and show on videos. I did it that way and a video did not show on “RUclips channel content” on videos. I need to show so I can download the video onto my MacBook Pro and import to Filmora for reactions. I have RUclips premium, so how can I fix this? Thanks for your time.
I can't decide between the neom and the at2020usb-xp. I have a somewhat deep voice, though not as deep as this guy (well... maybe in the morning). I think my old rode nt-usb doesn't quite capture my voice correctly. I'm not a pro voiceover guy, I just make yt videos, but I still would like the voiceover to be as good as possible.
@@user-ix5ip6bt6s I don't really know. I'm not a pro voiceover guy, I don't really know what I’m doing when it comes to eq and such, so my problems with the mic had more to do with me than the mic itself.
@@user-ix5ip6bt6s Just in case you wanted to know, I bought it again and I'm keeping this time. I decided to revisit the mic after learning more about how to set gain, noise reduction, eq, mic technique and whatnot, I'm getting much better results now. For the record, I did try the sE neom and returned it. It had a steady white noise/hiss that hovered around -48db (may have been faulty).
The problem is, your voice sounds great on all of them.
Oh Good God Yes! I remember those Chose your own Adventure books. I read them all in my school library.
Great vs video! Appreciate the quality content. Small suggestion, add the last chapter at 6:45ish ('and there you have it') :)
Never heard of the 512 but it's impressive.
Lovely jubbly 😊👌
The Neom is the one I prefer.

The RodeNT mini sounds the best to me.

what boom stand are you using?
The 512 audio Tempest was pretty good with all tests
Would you recommend the AT2020usb-xp for someone who is just starting out in voice over?
