I personally think George is Max's grandfather , and Junior is "the" Goofy we know today. (born in 50s , young adult in disco 70s , married in 80s , being a single father raising his preteen son(Max) in early to mid 90s , sent Max to college around 2000.....the timeline seems legit.)
That might not be far fetched to me! Since there is a special Holloween episode of Goof Troop with the gold Pocket Watch with Max`s grandfather`s ghost inside of it!
My theory is that the character in the 1950's shorts is actually Goofy's father, and that the redhead is Goofy himself. And for Max to be a pre-teen in the early 90's, I think it makes the most sense. As for where Max's mom is, I don't know, but I'm guessing she died from either a car accident or an illness.
Wow! I thought of the same thing myself. It would also explain why Goofy from Goof Troop is always talking about the stuff he did with his dad. His dad is the original Goofy (or the 50's version of Goofy... however you want to look at it).
Since it's p common for kid's hair and eye colors to darken throughout their childhood, it's possible for max to have had red/auburn hair as a toddler that then darkened to black, likely when he was around 7 or 8 years old
I have an idea. Please hear me out. I am curious to if you think it is a good one. Max, like many other children, was born with different color hair. And as he got older it darkened to black, like goofy's. Max's mom died when he was still a toddler, from a car wreck. Goofy couldn't bring himself to say how she died but always told max that she was in the stars so he would not feel the pain from it.
crystal shauntae2 I understand what u mean and maybe that did happen in the Disney universe but I kind of think in my opinion he told Max how she died but like u said it was extremely difficult to talk about it so that just never talked about it
So when I was younger I thought Clarabelle Cow and Goofy were a couple, but it turns out she was dating Horace Horsecollar the whole time! Kind of crazy. Have a magical day everyone! disney.wikia.com/wiki/Clarabelle_Cow
Wotso Videos I believe Max's mother was a dog too but what type of dog luscious does Max act more like her or does Max act more like Goofy that is the question and I would love to know more about goofy his wife and Max
honestly in things like house of mouse and mickey mouse clubhouse and even in the three musketeers movie that starred mickey, donald and goofy they did show that goofy and clarabelle were dating. which confuses me now since i have seen an extremely goofy movie and know that he did fall in love with the librarian sylvia in that movie.
I think Mrs. Geef is likely Penny Pooch as well. Junior certainly has that look about him. I think perhaps as Junior grew up, his hair got darker and his nose got bigger, looking more like his father with age. Or perhaps Junior is Max's older brother who was tragically killed with their mother when Max was an infant. It would be great if Disney made another Disney Toon movie in the GoofTroop franchise and this was revealed.
It's no darker than the Wicked Queen wanting the heart of Snow White as proof of her death. It's no more tragic than the death of Bambi's mother or the death of Tarzan's parents. Disney does death well, especially when it comes to mothers. How many stories involve a character who has lost their mother at an early age? Disney even does tragedy well. The animated short, "The Little Match Girl" is just as emotional as anything produced by Pixar, maybe even more so, in terms of tragedy. Of any animation studio, Disney would be most capable of producing such a story in a way that both children and adults would appreciate it. Take a look at how sophisticated Disney storytelling has become over the years. It started out with reactionary princesses who were rewarded with true love and evolved to developing true leaders like Moana. In some cases, characters have been abducted in stories like The Rescuers and The Great Mouse Detective. Even racial profiling has explored in Zootopia. I don't think the death of Goofy's wife and first born child is too dark for Disney. If anything, it would make the character of Goofy more admirable and endearing.
David Walker Dude i didn't even think of that. Lost his elder son and wife on the same day, left with Max. She was a bad driver. The video clip showed it.
As a kid a read all of the Minnie 'n Me books and I always though that Penny Pooch was Goofy's wife. She was best friends with Daisy and Minnie plus she has the red hair.
@@leafyishereisdumbnameakath4259 Clarabelle was a romantic interest for Goofy but I don't believe she was mother of Max. The original mother either died or left.
Definitely think that Goofy's wife had physical features similar to that of Sylvia. And maybe that max had grown out of that reddish hair, like some blond kids do when they grow older and start to have really dark hair.
I thought the same, i was a redhead when I was born, then I became blonde, and even lter I was blonde but during summer I get some reddish so I am reddish blonde...
It does, however that is how Disney drew women alot back in the day, I have some collective comic albums from the beginning of Donald Duck and forward, and in some of them there are short comics, one page or less where Donald is meeting women in some way or another, and those women all look pretty much the same as Cinderella.
The feeling you get when you realize Goofy is technically one of few DIsney characters confirmed to have sex. I mean, Max didn't just come out of nowhere.
i know we talking about goofy and stuff here but.. CHARLES LEE THOMAS CONWAY THESE MEN TAKE YOUR NAME AND THEY RAKE IT THROUGH THE MUD if you didn't get that don't bother asking
I personally just always felt like that was a pet name, like for instance my parents always called me Robbie around the house but my actual names Robert, it could be similar here in the form that goofy is calling max "maximillion" because he sees his son as the most precious thing to him in his life, which we see that, I mean goofy could've gone into a deep depression after his wife passed but no, he stood up and did everything to raise his son into a kind and loving person, and we see that, he raised max on his own, and probably never tried to found anyone else until max was able to take care of himself, and he ends up falling in love with the Librarian.
Max's personality changed as the death of his mother sank in. It was his way of dealing with it by leaving that version of himself behind. It was nothing traumatic beyond, you know, his mother dying. But as he was not witness to her death, it would not shock him so badly.
@@gracer8195 Aye, but that wouldn't explain their interests in gingers (Penny, Roxanne). Ultimately what I believe is happening here is that as his mother died at a fairly young ages (when Max was just a toddler) George Geef eventually decided to start dating again, which is where Clarabelle comes in to play. As you may of recall, we actually got to see Goofy take said out on a date in one of the "House of Mouse" episodes, and Max at the time was already a teenager. I'm sad to say that his real mom did in fact die in a horrendous car crash, as being depicted throughout the first couple of episodes. We also got to see the backside of her, and she looked nothing like Clarabelle, so that in and of itself explains that they're two different people. Or, animals, if you will, as Roxanne too wasn't exactly a human-human. (Could her mother have been George Geef's wife, as we never got to see her either?)
Now there is a big surprise! Since Wendy had a daughter named Jane! By the way, Jane Angela Nora Darling married Peter Pan. Together they had 2 kids in World War II London. This happens in the movie Hook! Tinkerbell was very beautiful and jealous at the same time!
I guess they wanted to follow the disney trend of "mothers dead or absent" like in so many other films. Although sometimes with babies, hair colors can change, becoming lighter and then darker over time. I would have thought Max was adopted, but he clearly inherited traits from his father. I know some will say she's not dead, but Goofy pretty much implied it, which is why he is always with Max and it explains why he wants to spend so much time with him.
You know since the DuckTales reboot doesn't mind mentioning Della maybe if Goof Troop gets updated, we will finally get some answers. Incidentally, I'm definitely on the Penny Pooch side of things. I even wrote a fanfic called Memories of the Dance We Shared.
Max is actually referred to as "Goofy Jr" in season 1 episode 7 of Goof Troop, "Meanwhile Back at the Ramp". There was no attempt to correct this, by Goofy or Max, so we can most likely assume that Max is definitely Goofy Jr. It's around 2:51, when a lady rocks up to their house who went to high school with Goofy. Sorry, I couldn't be specific. True 90s Kid right here! Will be making videos soon... Please buy my album tape.
Great video, but it's like a question I made in another video... why is Goofy the only character of the original gang to have a kid? Donald and Mickey only have nephews.
Karla Lopez a source said that is because of image. Donald and Mickey had kids-related image. As Mickey and Donald had to be role model for kids, so they cannot be depicted for adult cartoons. Especially for Mick, Mickey cartoons since his job as Disney's mascot had never gone too crazy and "inappropriate" until 2013. Goofy is the only guy in sensational six that is free to be explored by Disney. Since goofy is not really popular, even he disappeared in 70s. Goofy is often disguised as Mickey, forgotten by kids (but they remember Goofy's face). And also because he is created to explore the goofy side of mickey that is unable to show because of Mickey being a mascot. For Donald, i think it is just because of his temper tantrum that confused Daisy to take him or not. Because Donald was created for the same purpose, to keep Mickey's image while exploring dark side of Disney's. Image-keeping thing is like: no smoking at all (later then, a cigarette used cartoons for advertising), no clumsy acts like mickey has done in his new shorts (this is why Mickey new shorts is not for Disney Junior), no parenting since kids have not understood this, etc.
I thought I was because Goofy's wife cheated on him because in one of the goofy shorts they actually show his wife is an adulterer in fact the section the exact same short of the driving skills where that when a Milkman comes by he kisses goofy thinking that he is his wife and everyone greets him this way his wife has been around so originally I actually thought that maybe goofy found out about his wife cheating on him and then got a divorce
Goofy Jr. Could be Max's older brother & Goofy could've been married twice? Or Max could have dyed his hair like his fathers so he isn't reminded of his mother?
Un likely situation, but it rarely can happen! Although, who knows what the animators chose to do‽ Anything is now possible realistically anyway when dealing with family problems and comedy shows!
In my fanfics, she's a fellow redheaded dog called Jeanette who died of cancer. And I have another idea that Max has a daughter he called Jeanie in honour of her. (Plus, it's a little reference to Aladdin lol).
I think Max's mom is some animal creature because Max's nose is pinkish when he was child (the old version of Max) Goody never has pinkish nose so it's gotta be Max's mother
Yes please I would like to learn more about the families of the classic Disney cartoons. It is a thrilling mystery for our dreams! What a grand adventure for us al!
I would vote animal character because of how the Goof universe has changed in the ensuing decades, especially in the later 80's and early 90's. You don't see a single human in their world and if you think about it, if you do a similar profile of Sylvia, the two women might actually somewhat resemble each other. BUT MAN, ALL THIS MADE ME WANT TO DO IS CRY. LIKE, THIS IS AS SAD AS THE RUGRATS THEORY ABOUT CHUCKIE'S MOM. Poor, poor Goofy/Dippy and Max... :,(
Of course when I was watching those 50's shorts, I thought Jr./Max was some Canine/Human hybrid the way they seem to have gone in that world. Think of it as a form of equality among certain species though I suppose it works when the skin tones roughly match either other.
Tbh I think that goofy's wife in the shorts might be the librerian , they both have red hair ,a simular character and a human like apperence. Also the more mature looking goofy could come from his graduation . I think that after max went to collage and goofy graduated he became father of goofy junior ,his second son .Max moved out after collage wich is why we never see him in the shorts.
Maria fu Wow that is a really good theory, except for that Goofy would go back to his goofy-looking self when he tells Max that the mother is up there in the stars. So he would go from goofy looking to mature to goofy looking again......?
From those pictures, I do not think she died. She is a dead ringer for Jessica Rabbit. In Who Framed Roger Rabbit, it would make sense that, IF Jessica Rabbit was Jessica Goof, it would make sense that he would frame Roger Rabbit to get her back. And, if she went to Toonland, it may have been possible for Goofy to believe she had died... i think it's harder to understand a mother would willingly leave her child.
Guy's it's the modern age. In the 80's women started back to college . Who's to say, she's alive an well but back in college. Goofy's the type of man dog whatever who would be understanding. That there has got to be more to life then being stuck in the kitchen. An Max is not act like those guy who take women for granted so he has got to have a mother's guiding hand. An the fishing trip has got to be her suggestion to Goofy for a little male bonding. An she went back to college as soon as Max was old enough 12-14 . It's a cartoon, who to say that a human woman would not fine Goofy adorable.
I think Max’s mother is actually Clarabelle! Idc if Goofys wife is human bc it doesn’t make any sense. Clarabelle and Goofy look very similar so that’s why Max doesn’t have any resemblance to Clarabelle. She probably died when she gave birth to max. That’s why In ducktails in goofy’s photos you can see Goofy has a sad/worried face while holding Max. Also that’s why we’re don’t see Max’s mother in the other photos.
I had wondered about Max’s mom. I too had assumed Goofy had always been a widower. I didn’t know about Goofy’s family history. Thanks for making this! Also, I feel naive but... Goofy’s last name is Goof? lol I had no idea.
What happened to Goofy and Clarabelle's relationship? It can be possible that during there on again off again relationship, Max (at the time Goofy jr) could've been conceived, but when they broke up to whatever reason, Goofy got married to his current late wife. She adopted and later at some point changed the name to Maximillion. for the hair color difference, from the usual Max to the 1950 version is probably to show how close Goofy wife was close to Max. His personality change could also be from losing the his adoptive mother. Goofy and Max are on friendly terms, so it can be safe to say Max also knows that Clarabelle is his biological mom, and that although Goofy and her broke up, it's was better to remain as friends.
I don’t think Clarabelle is Max’s biological mother because if that was the case, Max would be half cow, and I really doubt that was the case. Max also probably doesn’t recognize Clarabelle as his mother. The woman that was Max’s mother who had died is definitely his biological mother, not adoptive mother. Goofy Jr/Max used to have red hair, and his mother probably had red hair. Clarabelle doesn’t. Not to mention, before Clarabelle started dating Goofy, she dated Horace Horsecollar. I really don’t think Goofy had any children’s with Clarabelle and if he did have any offspring with her, Max wouldn’t be one of them.
Sunny Khan no if she and goofy had a kid it wouldnt be max instead a type of hybrid its most likely his wife had a similar appearance to someone like Roxanne or was human
Goofy and Silvia are my favourite couple! Especially because they are kinda the same age and I adored the message they took. Just because you're not in your 20s, the doesn't mean you will not find somebody you like or even love!! In todays media, there's this subliminal message where the man has "always" to be older and the woman way younger. When in reality, you can like and relate perfectly with somebody of your same age. Because yes, weman get old too!! I appreciate them so much, they are even one of the few healty relationships presented, one of the best I've seen. Who wrote the film really loved, or enjoyed, what he was doing.
PLOT TWIST:I think he was just dating that woman and the librarian Sylvia is really his mother. And that Roxanne is Sylvia's daughter and that Roxanne is really Max and sister and that he really doesn't know it
Could you do a video on what point in time the 'Lion King' took place, since there are no people in the movie ?. The only time period I could think of is ancient Greece, since we see Scar's skin being worn by Hercules in the Hercules movie, but I don't know if the director's just threw that in the scene to have fun with the audience.
Okay thanks bud! I have no problems with inter-racial marriage, but inter-animal breeding that is where it is weird! Also crossing the line! Do you agree or disagree? Please let me know thank you!
I always believed Goofy's wife actually divorced him because she couldn't stand, nor deal with his dimwittedness and his "one-man disaster" level of severe accident-proneness anymore and ineffectively left Max to the horrors of living with a well-meaning, but morbidly, insatiably, unhealthy, unscrupulously, and ineptly embarrassing father who shamelessly treats dotes on him in public.
Minnie's parents appeared in the comics. Her father is a farmer named Marcus. Mickey's parents have made cameos twice in non-canonical material. In all likeliness, Mickey Mouse's parents are deceased.
I know for sure that they are in Mr. Slicker and the Egg Robbers from 1930 by Floyd Gottfredson. Here's the INDUCKS page about it: coa.inducks.org/story.php?c=YM+003
At 2:46 when Goofy is on the phone, you can see pics of the old version of The Goof Family's son (with the red hair). I wonder if this means that possibly max and the old son aren't one in the same, but I'm unsure.
Well in the story books we can see her father as this man with dark brown features but they say that her mother was dead so in the story there was a little tree thar represnted her mother and yea thats all i know ._.
When my dad was a kid, he lived in Florida, & had white blonde hair. But now he lives in Upstate, New York & his hair is dark brown & gray. Kids' hair darkens as they grow up. My great aunt had beautiful red hair as a child, that turned auburn as she became an adult.
I read an article and I saw a page in a book that said she fell off of a part of the Grand Canyon and when goofy said “she’s up in the stars”he said that while they were driving through the Grand Canyon and I think she has more of a face like Roxanne in my opinion.
My theory is that Goofy had two different marriages. The 1950s shorts represent his first marriage with George Jr. as his son (George could also be Goofy's real name in this case). One of the shorts implied that his first wife was cheating on him with the milkman. Goofy later found out about that scenario and got a divorced (and/or abandoned by the first wife). But then his first redheaded wife probably took custody of George Jr. The Max saga of the 1990s+ represents Goofy's post-second marriage. The wife from Goofy's second marriage died while Max was really young. Thus pretty much left Goofy to be a single father to Max.
Perhaps, since I do remember Max actually saying in one episode about dying his hair black! So maybe it is possible or even likely he dyed it due to depression! Classic Cartoons are my childhood! I will not let Donald Trump destroy them or America!
Very well then I apologize only to you out of respect to you! Just please be aware that he broke a lot of laws! However, as a person with a family. I can safely say I understand he had some good intentions, but he went about it the wrong way. I am sorry if I got you upset.
Anyway staying on topic with Goofy`s wife Who do you think she is? I agree with RaphGirl. Unless it is someone we least expect, but we all need to focus on fact! I know that I cannot just assume things, and I maybe wrong, but please try to understand that Fact is the only way to go! Obstructing major legal processes like the investigation, that is a federal crime! No one is above the law! Not even me! However, compromise is the political way to for everyone to forgive each other and be the best we can be while working together! If Trump wins this new election, he better do it the honest and Legally appropriate way! That is all I care about! At first was in support of him and others because it was the right thing to do! But when he did all the things he was not supposed to, that just proves he is not the right fit for the job as president! The extreme right and extreme left should learn to get along and make a compromise! All canidates from each party should use the advantages from each of their ideas! This way everyone can benefit even Mr. Trump! But greed is an old sickness all of humanity was poisoned with way long before you, me and others living today were born! It is time for all of us to work together to find a proper solution! I forgive Mr. Trump for treating women badly! But he needs to be a good boy for now on! Otherwise he will go to prison! And that is the way of the law! He needs to abide by the same laws we have too! It is a Fact! Kings have no place in modern times! He has made things worse for everyone but himself! It is called Greed! That is Fact! I do not want to hurt your feelings, and do not intend to bash your way of thinking, but fact matters more than getting away with your crimes! I am what they call: The Balance area! That is the truth! I hope all sides can let bygones be bygones! I apologize for getting political here! I hope you have a good weakened!
It was hinted in the Goof Troop animated tv series starting with episode 1! I finished rewatching the entire series and both movies during the quarentine... At home!
I would love if they make a back story of goofy wife in a movie like how they meet and got married and then later had max or bring her back in short shows of the time before she passed that would be awesome 😎!!! To get to know her personality better, like is she really a bad drive she funny like goofy or is she the serious one in the relationship, but knows when to have fun !
Did you know a lot of those actors and actresses either came from Los Angeles, or even Long Island New York? Heh Even Courage the Cowardly Dog was created by a basic media production art student who went to Adelphi University in Garden City New York during the late 80`s early 1990`s! The show came to Cartoon Network during the 1990`s! I can still remember all his screams! "Ai-yai eye!"
Oh please do not remind me of what troubles from that era inspired! For the world was a violent time! The 90`s were slightly more peaceful! Of course today its just gone deeper into hell thanks to Trump! It is all his fault!
Only in the Three Musketeers starring Mickey, Donald, & Goofy. Sort of Disney`s hint at what if scenario. For instance, imagine what if Goofy was a player before Mrs. Geef came into his life and tamed him‽ Thank you all for being yourselves! May Peace be with all of us as we enter a new age of social distancing forever!
In the Goof Troop cannon, Goofy is a widower. In a Goofy Movie, since Peg and Pistol are absent, it is assume that Goofy is just a single Parent. Most theories have suggested that Glory Bee might be Max's biological mother. Also Goofy Junior IS Goofy of the Modern Era.

I read somewhere that Goofy"s wife was killed in an auto accident. I find it very interesting that Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck have girlfriends, but they haven't married. Goofy is the only one to have made the leap to parenthood. Mickey and Donald have nephews, but they're not parents. By the way, Mickey"s nephews are Morty and Ferdy Fieldmouse. Goofy also has a nephew, the extremely intelligent Gilbert
What I think is that Penny Pooch is the librarian and when Goofy met her maybe they get married and have a as Max and as some people are saying maybe by the time Max's hair changed into black colour
Actually the librarian is: Sylvia Marpole! Voice role:- Bebe Neuwirth! She was a minor character in Mickey And Friends, then got a bigger role to play in An Extremely Goofy Movie. These are facts. And facts should never be ignored unless they were tampered with as it does get mirky sometimes in the real world anyway. I hope this shows that Google answered Mrs. Geef is Goofy`s wife who died. So this means Sylvia Marpole is his love interest that would be his 2nd wife. Or Max`s step mother.

That makes too much sense!

I think the bigger question is why is Max the only Micky Mouse character that permanently aged.

Max, like many other children, was born with different color hair. And as he got older it darkened to black, like goofy's. Max's mom died when he was still a toddler, from a car wreck. Goofy couldn't bring himself to say how she died but always told max that she was in the stars so he would not feel the pain from it.

honestly in things like house of mouse and mickey mouse clubhouse and even in the three musketeers movie that starred mickey, donald and goofy they did show that goofy and clarabelle were dating. which confuses me now since i have seen an extremely goofy movie and know that he did fall in love with the librarian sylvia in that movie.
I could have sworn I saw an episode where Goody's wife died in a car accident.
That would be too dark for Disney, but I would watch it.
A Goofy Movie's Goofy IS Goofy Junior.

This makes a lot of sense. *nods*
that would also tell as why max liked roxanne like father like son
i thought it wouldve been clarabelle cow
@@leafyishereisdumbnameakath4259 Clarabelle was a romantic interest for Goofy but I don't believe she was mother of Max. The original mother either died or left.
I think Mrs Goofy may have had a driving accident. Also, Goofy and Max like red heads
So if max's last name is goof...
DOES THAT MEAN GOOFY'S NAME IS GOOFY GOOF?!
Yes. That is actually canon.
Maybe even Goofy Goof Geef?
To be fair, his name could potentially be George Goof, with Goofy being a nickname based on his surname
Surname nicknames aren't especially uncommon
Yes it is true!
i guess so
Definitely think that Goofy's wife had physical features similar to that of Sylvia. And maybe that max had grown out of that reddish hair, like some blond kids do when they grow older and start to have really dark hair.
He also was a pretty angsty teenager, and might have died it black
Erin D. Indeed. also a possibility.
I thought the same, i was a redhead when I was born, then I became blonde, and even lter I was blonde but during summer I get some reddish so I am reddish blonde...
Yeah, I personally know someone who had red hair as a little kid, and grew up yo have dark brown hair
I do agree with max grew out of his red hair because I used to have bright blonde hair now I have brown hair so it could be a possibility
I think Jr. died early of a childhood illness.
Goofy and Mrs. Goof had a second child named Max, but his mother died in childbirth.
That dishearting but more reasonable than some. I mean it was the 1950's
That is a great explanation as well. Thanks for watching!

It does, however that is how Disney drew women alot back in the day, I have some collective comic albums from the beginning of Donald Duck and forward, and in some of them there are short comics, one page or less where Donald is meeting women in some way or another, and those women all look pretty much the same as Cinderella.
That's a really interesting observation. I would have never thought of that. Thanks for watching!

The feeling you get when you realize Goofy is technically one of few DIsney characters confirmed to have sex. I mean, Max didn't just come out of nowhere.

Max's personality changed as the death of his mother sank in. It was his way of dealing with it by leaving that version of himself behind. It was nothing traumatic beyond, you know, his mother dying. But as he was not witness to her death, it would not shock him so badly.
Goofy and Clarabelle Cow are shown as romantically involved in the original shorts. So I always thought it was her
So...Max is a cow?
Same, and they were romantically involved in Mickey, Donald and Goofy in the 3 musketeers
Not a good match up! If that happened, Max would have been a calf! Mot a puppy!

Yesss!! And for like a long second, she has a Bo Peep hat from Toy Story!!
i agree too but i was thinking it looked like wendys mother more because of how much mature she looks
Or maybe... she is Wendys!! 🍟🍔
Yes and that just is further explained with the fact that Goofy actually can cook and clean doing a mother and father`s job role!
I think she died in a car accident

Cool.

Here is another question: What happened to Pete's wife and daughter between Goof troop and the Goofy movies?
Jeffrey Dotson True, Pete's wife was Hot!
They were out of town
I loved Pete's Family. His daughter was a doll! She had her daddy wrapped around her little finger.
My headcanon is that Pete and Peg divorced and Pete got custody of PJ while Peg got custody of Pistol.
She probably divorced him and took their daughter.
I feel like Goofy In the 50’s cartoons is actually Max as an adult (legally changed his name to George) and married to Roxanne.

That cartoon certainly had a workout in how much we can glean from it.
The Jerkinator 101 then why did goofy say "shes up there with stars" if a divorce did happen because of cheating wouldnt they have cut all contact?
BeWastedWithFandomTrash :D she's an astronaut that's why she's with the stars
BeWastedWithFandomTrash :D he's goofy, he probably never caught on. Plus he's too nice of a character to probably have done so.
Also damn, I just posted a comment that looks similar.
Wasn't there a scene in "A Goofy Movie" where they showed a picture frame of Goofy, Max, and the mother?
I don`t know nor do I remember! I would have to re-watch the entire series on either Hulu or Disney + to find out!
¯\_(⊙_ʖ⊙)_/¯
That's what I think as well! Thanks for watching!
Clarabelle isn’t going to be happy abt this
Goofy is such a great father and one of my favorite disney characters
Yeah well, at least it's one plausible way to see why Goofy cared so much for Max the way we see it in A Goofy Movie.
Wow that’s actually a good theor
From those pictures, I do not think she died. She is a dead ringer for Jessica Rabbit.
In Who Framed Roger Rabbit, it would make sense that, IF Jessica Rabbit was Jessica Goof, it would make sense that he would frame Roger Rabbit to get her back. And, if she went to Toonland, it may have been possible for Goofy to believe she had died... i think it's harder to understand a mother would willingly leave her child.
Maybe she's Jessica Rabbit's sister.
Matthew Corbin that could be possible actually. hmm...
TeamVulpix1996, twin cousin?
Yes, see "The Patty Duke Show" 1963-1966
Guy's it's the modern age.

Clarebell the cow is a good supposition.... Don't you think so?😉
Nope, she was always with Horace Horsecollar. Try again.
So Max is a Cowdog 'now?

Well if I f*cked my best friend’s girlfriend I would pretend that she died too.
On 2:49 looks like pictures of max on the refrigerator behind goofy when he was a kid with the orange hair
That makes a lot of sense. Imagine Max finding out that he has an older half brother.
So, Max (Nicknamed "Goofy, Jr".) was originally a redhead? Hmm...I wonder if that kid dyed his hair and fur black as he got older?
Perhaps, since I do remember Max actually saying in one episode about dying his hair black! So maybe it is possible or even likely he dyed it due to depression! Classic Cartoons are my childhood! I will not let Donald Trump destroy them or America!

Are Max and Junior the same kid? Because Junior has red hair like his mother and Max has black hair and have ears like Goofy.
All famous cartoons have characters with original alternative names! That was how it was done in those days!
You know... that's honestly a goofy question! I've been curious about that for quite some time now
Very understandable to me!

I hope this shows the answer you were looking for‽ As Google has served me correct answers for years. It is time for using straight facts once again. I hope I was able to help. Also I just love Disney collections all the classics help remind us that the 1990`s and earlier was best for animated television. Thank you all for participating. Sincerely signed, Joe Bongiorno.
