    You are the only youtuber i believe when you say you haven’t been paid for promoting an item. You can tell its your original opinion, unlike so many bloggers that all of the sudden start loving the same products at the same time (because they get sent them, obviously) . Thanks for your integrity and honesty and for giving the advert money to charity. You are incredible

    The video was sponsored by the aloe leaf :) I find it amazing when people willingly put natural aloe on their skin because I remember growing up my grandma had an aloe plant and she would cut it and try to put in on me but I felt grossed out so I always ran away from her lol and now I'm all about the aloe plant. Loved this video Lisa thanks for sharing your knowledge with the world

    If you've got really thick or curly hair and you rolled your eyes when Lisa said the Aquis towel takes minutes to dry your hair to the 'damp' stage (used to be me), I honestly beg you to try it first. It used to take me literally hours to air dry my hair but now I wrap it in my aquis turban, do my skin care, makeup get dressed and it'll be dry enough for me to leave the house.
    I don't style my hair anymore either! honestly over time the towel reduces frizz to the point where I don't feel like I need to anymore (obviously you can use your mousse and oils/gels if you want to, but it wont look crazy without it).

    You can cut up the aloe into smaller pieces and freeze them, excellent de-puffing trick I learnt from my late mother (we grow 4 varieties in our garden in Jordan). And your conjecture about the Aloe and your skin being clear and not breaking out is spot on, allegedly it also brightens the skins and makes the appearance of hyper-pigmentation less. I unfortunatly am one of those unlucky people who are intolerant to Aloe. But I have seen it on so many people and the positive effects on the skin is amazing.
    And thank you for this it was lovely.
    By the way Rene Furterer is an old, tried and true brand it's been around for yonks. I think Pier Auge, and Gatineau popped up at the same time. :-)

    • @SpArK4GrL
      @SpArK4GrL 6 лет назад +1

      Walid Zou'bi Thank you for the tip!! I’m wondering how you know that you’re intolerant to aloe though? I’ve started using raw aloe as a nightly face mask and sometimes it’ll make my skin feel itchy in some places but I’ve not had any skin reactions and I don’t feel that itchiness anywhere else on my body. Would that be considered an intolerance or would that be much more severe? 😁 Just wondering!!

    • @SlimKeith11
      @SlimKeith11 5 лет назад +1

      She's lucky she has nice straight features to being with however everything begins with good skincare-if it's nice and clear, you don't need much make up and less is more especially as we get older. If we take good care of our skin, that's what people really notice. A lot is based on genetics but so much can be done with simple products-vit c serum, retin A/renova, peptides and a good moisturizer. Reddit has great advice for products that won't break the bank.

    Lisa thank you so much for sharing your favorites. I have been using Nuface trinity since April 2018. My skin is no longer dull and my make up looks smooth. I ran out of their original gel and tried aloe vera gel from Trader Joe's. Thanks for suggesting to use natural aloe leaves. I was thinking that it may work well too. I use my trinity treatment in the morning before putting on make up. My treatment is only for 5 minutes but I do see a difference and the beep does not bother me at all. Also, years ago, I was using Rene F. shampoo and conditioner, which was carried by Sephora. I really liked the shampoo. It is a good brand, but Sephora does not carry it anymore. Love all your videos. All the best, Marjan

      get a plant which is already 4 years old, cause what I know (I got myself one last year) is, that the plant has developed its best properties when its' already older...in general it grows really quick, you'll see how fast your plant will grow little "babies" underneath (great give-aways)....oh and another thing: it's super important to let it "bleed out" when you cut it, cause the then coming out reddish gel can cause reactions...after you used the gel, you should eat the rest :))

    I bought 2 small Aloe Vera plants 1yr ago to grow & use on mine & my family’s skin after buying a huge aloe leaf in Dubai when my skin took a reaction to the sun. I now have over 30 aloe plants as they grow so fast & grow “pups” & multiply so fast. I either mix the Aloe with vitamin E to preserve it or use it straight from the leaf. It’s wonderful stuff & is also so healthy to have in your home as it helps purify the air. You should grow your own. They’re very easy to keep. I could send you some from my now huge collection if you wish. Fabulous video as always Lisa. X x x x

    I miss these videos where you'd sit with us and talk about the stuff you like and how you use it. LOVE IT, maybe consider making this a monthly video? (if possible)

    Thanks Lisa, I was just researching nuface and I placed my order tonight after watching your video. I also got the LED attachment hoping it will help my rosacea. I appreciate your videos and honest feedback.

    Lisa make sure your Q10 supplement is Ubiquinol form. It’s the better one. No conversion necessary. 🙏🏻🙌

    You book was delivered while I was watching this video - what a double treat! Loved this video - the only 30 min video I've watched without fast forwarding :) You do look amazing so all the effort you put in taking care of yourself and finding the best products really pays off.

      Beautiful! hoping for aquamarine in future collections. You have done gemstones so thoughtfully and gorgeously. It is such a struggle to find well-designed aquamarine pieces. Would love to see them in your collections.

    I also use Aloe vera. I have a plant at home so I just cut a small piece everytime I need a piece. I cut it in half then rub one part on my face until all the gel is off. I let it dry out and use the second piece. It cools my skin. I love to massage it too, after cleansing my face. It's lovely. It makes your skin smooth and free from breakouts. I realised when I was breaking out due to hormones, it definitely toned my skin and kept it fresh. It makes a difference under my eyes. It hydrates your skin from the inside and is quite a good antioxidant and prevents pollutants from getting in.
