What an enlightening lesson on skincare ingredients, history, culture, and science! It's so cool to understand the behind the scenes context of skincare and cosmetics from an ecological, environmental and chemical perspective. The stories you tell are so fascinating and your intellectual curiosity and passion for makeup and skincare elevate and justify how we spend on products. And the prices of your products are definitely reasonable compared to other high end luxury products. I am so tempted to get more beautiful lipsticks and the face cleanser! Looks divine!
I have been watching your videos for 15 years now (I remember being a first year medical student and first learning about skin care from you!). I’ve never been a huge makeup wearer (a lipstick used as rouge, eyelash curlers + mascara = all I need). Despite that, I watch every video and own many of your makeup products. Anyway, 15 years later I’m now an attending Urologic surgeon and I still use the skincare products I learned from you way back when. This seems like SUCH a fitting product for you to release. Can’t wait! ❤

I really appreciate how much care and effort you put into making the ingredients environmentally and ethically sourced, as well as using pre-consumer recycled plastic in the packaging and explaining to us what that actually is. @@yunsuuu I really like them. The face mist is my favorite of the two. I use the cleanser more as a mask than a cleanser (partly because I still need to finish up my supply of facial cleansers).
I'm so glad you left the perfume/essential oils etc out, you really know what you're doing! Finally products with something serious behind them! ❤
I already needed a new cleanser but this is what swayed me. Orange oils and 'all natural' fragrances tend to turn my face bright red!
@Sarah Orange oil really irritates my skin too. Unfortunately, it is in a lot of products listed as clean and natural. 😕
I'm so excited for this! Firstly, I have been watching since the beginning. I didn't grow up in a family who was very focused on beauty, and being a transgender woman I had to learn somehow. Your videos were that for me. I spent hours upon hours watching and have always held you in such high regard. Your presence online has been such a blessing for me, and I want to personally thank you! Aside from that, the timing is perfect on this launch. A friend at work and I were just talking about cleansers and how she and I were both looking for new ones. Mine hasn't come yet, but I can honestly say that that I feel good enough about this to say that if I love it, it will become a staple for me for years to come. Congratulations!

As a skincare junkie, this video totally spoke to me. I’m familiar with *almost* all of these ingredients, but to see them brought together in such a harmonious way - and explained so beautifully by you - made me feel excited for these products. And that is saying a lot, because lately I am not excited by a lot of the skincare that’s out there. The only brands doing really interesting skincare are out of reach price-wise, so it’s nice to have something at a more affordable price point (although this is not Cerave prices; don’t get me started on Cerave…). I loved the story of the cosmetic chemist you worked with who won your first content, and the history lesson that came with this was so fascinating. You are unparalleled, Lisa. Please please release more skincare products! Serum, moisturizer and eye cream PLEASE! :)
And SPF! So hard to find the perfect SPF underneath makeup and feel nice on its own. I believe Lisa can make the best one ❤

I love hearing how passionate and educated you are about your products. Unfortunately the price, especially for a cleanser (even though I understand it doubles as a face mask), is too steep, especially at the moment.
I get it. I’m just going to wait until I finish my cleanser and mask and I think that makes it much more reasonable. After all, I’ve bought masks for that price (Peter Thomas Roth). The fact that the product is sustainably sourced and has two purposes justifies it for me.
