Yes it a time saver. I liked the m6 with the disposable mopping pads but for expensive after awhile. The cleaning system on the Narwal pretty good and it Air Dries the pads afterwards using a built in fan to avoid mildew
So it can't climb over deep thresholds, not going to move that big base from room to room. BRAAVA still fine for me in ny but Florida were whole house is tile with no barriers would work better than braava.
@@RobotMasters i like 300 series braava over newer design. Mine the plate that hold cleaning pad is lower and sticks out infront of braava, the braava can't fit under my claw foot kitchen table but cleaning pad can. Irobot should have keep that design and added the scrubbing movement like on wet jet. Truth for all these to work furniture manufacturers need to standardize floor clearance so these can fit under them
Good point, I have a couple robots that seems to get wedge between my kitchen sink and floor, there a .5 ft gap. Others are either shorter or smaller, but having a standard I can adjust the height to accommodate all.
Great video! I would love to see an option on the Narwal T10 to hook it up to a faucet for clean water, and a hose for bad water, so we never have to refresh the water.
Hi Nate a couple of questions. 1> What are your thoughts on MovaL600? Apparently it’s from Mi group and has suction power of 4000pa with LiDar mapping using Mi home app. 2>How good is Mi app compared to Roborock’s? A video comparing the different apps would be awesome since a lot of new entrants come with LiDar sensors so now it’s up to the software. What’s you take on that ?
Hello, so I will test the Mova L600 in a few weeks, my current lineup will be the iLife w450, maybe the Lydsto R1 which has Lidar and self emptying system. Have a lot products to get through so I will give a more insight once I have some time testing the L600. On paper seems very powerful at 4,000 Pa. The other robots that use the Mi Home App like the Roborock, DreameTech, Viomi the navigation and features are all very good.
Thank you for the review! I have been watching narwal for a year...hope they can provide this great product but increase customer service. The customer service comments on their website from Kickstart buyers are not great. Sure looks promising.
For smooth surfaces, the Narwal T10 did surprisingly well despite having a suction only port. Keep in mind the Narwal only supports one map aka floor plan. The other models you mentioned offer multiple map saving. The S5 Max is a good all around robot vacuum. Also the price is good. Haven’t personally tried the S9 but heard good things about that one. It depends on what features you are looking for.
No haven't had any issues, what part are you stuck at? You can try tuning off off robot turning back on. Uninstall and reinstall the app. If you are using android make sure you accept the robot wifi network, sometimes Android phones don't connect to non data networks.
Because the Narwal does not carry a water tank, does it also ends up mopping with a less ideal damp mop frequently during its multiple runs? Also I read that the software does not allow editing the maps with virtual barriers and room separation. Is that true?
It provides enough water to do the entire small area. I believe in larger areas the Narwal will return multiple times to clean the mopping pads and to pre wet them. You do have multiple setting, Dry, Damp and Wet to determine how wet the mopping pads are. Lastly I found if you have a very large area, divide the room up in smaller areas, than you can have the robot clean the mopping pad upto 3 times. PS: You can divide up the rooms, and merge the rooms. There also no mopping zones. As I recall Narwal is working on providing No Go Zones for the vacuuming part.
That's the most solid looking mopping robot I've seen so far. But big. And not likely available in the US yet, right? I am moving into a new house (yet to be purchased) and hope it will have mostly hard flooring, so something like this might be nice.
The Robot itself is actually the same size as a normal robot vacuum. Able to maneuver around most furniture and get under them too. The base is large to hold the two 1.2 L Fresh and Dirty Water tanks. Also acts as a cleaning station, charged and drying unit. Would make a good addition to your home especially the hardwood floors. I am continuing testing this robot and will give a 3 month review. Also that when it should be available here in the USA.
will it be able to navigate over small thresholds less than an inch high while in mopping mode? I have one separating the kitchen from the hallway, my robot vacuum can navigate over them easily but I'm wondering if this can.
Hi, I got a narwal last week, High-frequency sound was not heard in vacuum mode, but Can’t you hear a high frequency sound from the motor when operating in mopping mode? So I wonder if it’s normal because it’s too annoying. How about you?
Hmmmm maybe I have bad hearing, or can’t hear the high frequency sound of the vacuum motor. From what I tested, in mopping mode the only thing is running is the spinning mopping pads. Mine pretty quiet in mopping mode, can’t hear any high pitch noise.
Welds they are both good, the w450 designed for both wet and dry spills. The Narwal is more of a hands off cleaning approach with more mapping features.
Been using the robot a hand full of times, in carpet they will become bent out of shape. On hardwood floors they do fine. I do recommend replacing them every 3-6 months if you are running the robot 2-3 times a week.
I need someone that make a fusion between narwal and the ilife 450 that will be the best floor mopping washer ever... And add the ability to auto reload clean water and flush the dirt one
No beater bars, little suction port and no chance of self emptying don't see this winning any awards as a vacumm but not want it was ment to be. Did i miss something, i didn't see a reservoir on the machine itself to keep pads moist holding cleaning solution or did i miss that? So the water in the tank is only for cleaning the pads? It looks like has a low profile even with the dome, put it next to braave and mopping vacumms to see might be better fitting under furniture. its supposed to run for a few minutes then return to clean and moisten the pads, lot of battery power is wasted treaking back to the base let alone repeat covering same path could over damp wood floors causing damage, how does it know when to recharge?
So how the Narwal works is it cleans and wets the mopping pads before going out. You have the ability to determine how wet the mopping pads are. Once the robot needs to make the mopping pads wet again it will return back to its station clean and wet the mopping pads again. I found if I divide a large areas up I can have the robot go up to 3 times to its station and mop the area upto 3 times. In this situation is did a descent job mopping. As for the profile it fairly slim, can get under most furniture.
@@RobotMasters how does it determine when the pads are to dry to continue and goes home. If a object gets stuck in the pads could scrach up floors, prooblem all could have
This review, while showcasing a new product, seems very disingenuous and fake, bet promoted/sponsored. Not to mention you can't even buy it yet. Furthermore why does it look so much like the also-yet-to-be-released Ecovacs Deebot N9+? This is strange and with lack of transparency or even trying to investigate these issues, I can't believe you're contributing to the potential fraud. Would not recommend.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, so Narwal is planning on having the Robot here in the USA and also offer US based customer service support. If you have any questions about the product feel free to ask. I be happy to clarify anything or ask Narwal directly. The pre orders should be available April 6th 2021, and this unit I showcased on this video is a review unit which was been provided to me by Narwal. Have a good day and thanks again for the feedback.

I need this. I mop 5 times a day with my M6 and it's a pain to swap and clean the pads. I'd rather have this than a self emptying vacuum bin.

Yes, since the mop pad are wet after leaving the station
