Danny - great video - 'Tinca Tinca', always my favourite! - and as for the slabs! - quality!! Patience is a virtue when targetting Tench - used to fish the Regents Canal in East London for them - never big fish, 1lb - 4lb. Used to be on the bank around 03:30 for the start and pick a few up - rarely did they show through the day but come 20:00, they would switch on again. Used to stay bankside from 03:30 till gone 23:00, go home, sleep, get up and do it again. 'Mad' doesn't begin to describe it - but such great memories...
Then I got married, had 5 children, and it all stopped!!🤣🤣

learning the patience bit lol, madness is the word and part two of this is exactly as you describe the next day doing it all gain, good fun though eh and good memories

Top fishing some lovely fish there, I had a Bream the same size (9lb 12oz) from a big natural lake similar to this one close to where I live, a lot of them in there and the smallest one I've had from there has been 7lb 2oz. Would love some big Tench like what you caught here. Your videos are excellent just straight to the point, good close up views of your rigs and baits. I love this style of fishing, big natural lake feeder fishing with a nice mix of bait, perfect. Keep them coming 👍

Great video, I’m doing a similar thing in August - booked a ticket at Linear to try and focus on tench . I’ll either end up with a blank or a PB but you e got to try haven’t you?! I’ll be feeding / using rigs similar to yours so hopefully all will be well. What venue is this? I remember fishing a lake like that back in the 90s but the main memory of it was dropping my Walkman in the water while fishing and it played the music backwards until it all dried out!
