The comment section intially appears to be hijacked by brainless bhakts, sanghis, atheist hindus among the followers of pseudo intellect Acharya Prashant.
Acharya Prashant, like other babas sometimes made claims that lack evidence and logical basis leading to deceive their dumb followers.
Those calling out Dr. Zakir Naik with various slurs, insults and personal attack highlighting their abusive mentality and how they are taught in their faith and by their babas like Acharya how to spread hate against people of different beliefs.
The behavior of the adherents of (5000 year old) religion reflects their Islamophobic mentality that promotes hate speech and intolerance. They don't understand the importance of constructive dialogue and respectful disagreement.
Dr. Zakir Naik on other side speaks with logic, facts and in accordance with the beautiful faith of Islam which defines each and every aspect of life with wisdom. Whether you like it or not Islam is the religion of truth and a best way to lead a life.
We have no choice but to take action against these abusive and hateful comments. We won't hesitate to delete their vile comments.
To be honest, Acharya Prashant is the one who is talking logically.

Acharya Prashant speaks the language of compassion and guys like Zakir Naik will never be able to understand compassion towards animals unless and until they keep their dogmas aside and try to understand this with a fresh and unattached mind.
If we should all have compassion to animals, then why did Shiva send people to cut off the neck of an elephant just to add it to Ganesh, when Shiva as God can do everything? So is Shiva bad? Of course all should have compassion. But not OVER-Compassion. Even Vegetarian Food has meat. Even Chips have meat, etc.

The end goal of Hinduism is moksha or liberation or dissolution of ego or ahankar and if an idol helps you in dissolving ego like in the case of "Ramakrishna Paramhansa " then there is nothing wrong in it. Even in bhagwat geeta also krishna asked Arjun to worship him to become his bhakt/devotee , in Hinduism there is no concept of worshipping false god or right god , its just if that devotion kills your ego then it is worth it.
Even in Sufism too, the end goal is dissolution of self (refer to sheik farid or rumi etc).
Whereas in jakir's teaching the end goal is getting 72 Virgins.

To be honest being a agriculture and nutrition aspirant, I hereby say that legumes and beans when combined together we can get all essential amino acids also vegetables have amino acids when combined and cooked to minimum. Being vegetarian is important and essential for environment, your body and your mind. You can also watch the intensive researched documentaries like " The Game Changers" What the health" , "Fat sick and nearly dead", "Fork Over Knife", and so on if you don't believe being vegan or vegetarian is good.
I know. But total protein and rich level of amino acids are not in the vegetables.
After all it's not possible for a common man to follow proper diet like a celebrity vegetarian...

Hindus don’t worship idols, believing them to be Gods. Rather, they view the statues and images as physical representations of God to help them focus on an aspect of prayer or meditation. This tradition is reflected in Verse 12.5 of the Bhagavad Gita, which states that only a few have the time and mind to ponder and fix on the unmanifested Absolute (abstract formless Brahman). As such, it is much easier to focus on qualities, virtues, aspects of a manifested representation of God through one’s senses, emotions and heart, because of the way human beings naturally are.
Furthermore, it is important to note that a murti in Hinduism is a form and manifestation of the omnipotent Brahman. Thus, a literal translation of murti as idol is incorrect, for Brahman is not actually confined to the idol.
