In this video I continue to work on my garden. We are making progress! If you like time lapses, lofi beats, and plants, this video is perfect for you. More of me: linktr.ee/otte...
Josh could sell tickets to this show. Just set up some lawn chairs, offer some lemonade, and I'd happily watch all day long while you get all sweaty with your gardening.
A) The Bach in the first segment is a lovely touch. B) You washed those overalls. Much better. C) You are totally adorable. D) This is why I live in an apartment.
The video is wonderful, and I love what you are doing with the garden. Music-wise we've had everything from the first Prelude in the Well-Tempered Clavier Book I, to the Lacrimosa from the Mozart Requiem. All sort of made into easy-listening. It was lots of fun.
Great Job, Josh. Really enjoy your videos. You are a good and hard worker and so nice on the eyes. Not to mention a fun and nice person. I am really enjoying your YT videos, please keep them coming.
You need to trim the juniper and shape it. It is extremely durable. Cut it back and give that other plant a better chance of living. The juniper will look butchered for only a short length of time. They grow back wonderfully and are great for shaping to fit the space/area you want them to
@@joshbigosh having had lived in Japan for 14 years, I am an expert on this(🤣)! In Japan, they will use two by fours or similar planks to prop up branches to direct their growth. In your case, I would suggest trimming heavily on the left-hand side as you face that bush. Gradual trimming will get it to grow the direction you want it to. You can top it off if you want to. Give it some attention and shape it the way you want it to look. It’s a gradual fix, not an overnight cure. No to wires, you want to push up from underneath. Bonsai trees are way smaller, usually tabletop size.
I would've just pruned the conifer, instead of tying it back. The small plants under the big shrub look like sweet violets, they won't get any taller really, they'll just spread and provide ground cover, they're a woodland plant so they'll do well in the dry shade where a lot of other plants wouldn't survive 🤷♂️
I will for sure get to pruning it and seeing if I can get some wire or something to give it direction. The sweet violets I may have made the mistake of taking out. I wanted to replace them with something else anyways though.
I’m glad to see you discovered those mini rakes for working in tight spaces. They are super useful in garden beds with a lot of plants. I was going to suggest you get one in the last video but I knew you would figure it out fairly quickly. Nice job on all the garden clean up. Do you think you might plant a vegetable garden sometime in the future?
Good to know. I’ll have to learn more about that but I had assumed you could train it to grow up. I cut it back a little last year I don’t wanna take off too much though. 😅
Ohhhh yes...... trust ,e ive had the best time with gardening and chill.... you'd be suprieised with what you van do on a dozer tractor and excavator 😉
You really make my day. You have such a pleasant and calm persona. I love, love watching you flex and your work in the garden is impressive. Please keep sending these great videos!
Himbo, please! We all like to get our hands dirty (in soil, keep it clean!), but always wear garden gloves when weeding. You never know when you might tug on something and get your hands covered in something yucky! (Remember the underground bees?) Otherwise, excellent work on these beds!
News about the prickley pear Josh. In your previous video I commented that I thought prickley pears are only found in South Africa........it actually is from the Americas, Canada included and was brought to South Africa in the 1700's.
Josh you need to exercise caution yanking out plants! I've noticed Bleeding Hearts, Solomons Seal, what appears to be Peonies, Lilies, and Carhartts. Give everything a chance to grow and bloom until the end of the growing season in your area.
Oh sweetie, the plants under the juniper are peonies probably pink, fuschia. Whack that juniper back get good pair of pruning sheers and tame that juniper, tying it back probably won't work well, or just carefully dig around the peonies, they can be divided up at the same time and plant the separated bulbs four to six inches apart the same depth you found them four to six inches deep. When you see tiny ants crawling on the bubs don't freak out they are very important they help the flowers open don't spray them. Your such a handsome, healthy boy, I bet you get a lot of people wanting your services to clean out their gutters and the like?
I forgot to mention there are some plant identification apps online where you can take a photo of the plant leaves and the app will try to identify it for you.
Not only are you drop dead gorgeous but you are also very handy as we can see from this video. You're going to make some guy a great guy a great husband someday ❤
A neat video but do you not have snakes? I keep thinking every time you stick your hands into the unknown, you will come out with a snake wrapped around your hand?????? It is nice to see how well you keep your flower beds! Take care.
1) oddly enough, sexier with the shirt on. 2) couldn’t really tell, do you have space for a vegetable garden? Just some carrots, tomatoes, onions, cucumbers,?
Instead of cleaning up the leaves and weeds away from that pointy bent leafed thing on the end, I would rip it out (it's called a "yucka" for a reason). Actually, I'd rip them all out and plant new ... all perennials and pines that stay green all year.
I have subscribed to your channel. Obviously you are very well physically fit. You look so sexy in the overalls, as well as handsome. Your gardening skills are very well welcoming. You are my fantasy of a male lover. Like everyone else I enjoy your looks. Well my lover till next time take care and stay safe. Love ya 🍺❤️🕊😇🙏🌞👍🌈🇺🇸🌹
Josh could sell tickets to this show. Just set up some lawn chairs, offer some lemonade, and I'd happily watch all day long while you get all sweaty with your gardening.
I have been watching you for a while now. You are good natured, well grounded, You must have come from a good family. ❤
You are quite the handy man, Josh....yes, very handy indeed... good job..👍👍
Learning more everyday :)
@@joshbigosh 👍👍
I think I love you for how real you are
I am such a homebody haha
Good job Josh looks very nice. I just love the fact that you are into nature and gardening.
It's funny because if you told me that I would be into this last year I would have laughed. I am addicted to it now lol.
@@joshbigosh I was the same way a few years ago. It's nice and relaxing working in your yard.
I had no idea gardening could be so........ Amazingly arousing to watch..... ;-)
Good job, Josh and working hard, keeping them beautiful!😉👋🎶🎸🇺🇲❤️
Good job Josh....you can water my plants anytime 😊❤️💋
Gloves my good man save your hands!
A) The Bach in the first segment is a lovely touch. B) You washed those overalls. Much better. C) You are totally adorable. D) This is why I live in an apartment.
Lol lol
As professional horticulturist, you did a very good job improving your house foundation landscape. Wow, that soil looks so rich!
The video is wonderful, and I love what you are doing with the garden. Music-wise we've had everything from the first Prelude in the Well-Tempered Clavier Book I, to the Lacrimosa from the Mozart Requiem. All sort of made into easy-listening. It was lots of fun.
:)
And then a jazzed up version of the c minor prelude, WTC, Bk. 1
I bet he smells of musk and chocolate chip cookies! yumm...
I love your homedepot bucket ❤
You did a good job looks nice. I enjoy watching you do your gardening.
:) Thats good because I have plenty more to do haha.
@@joshbigosh I'm sure you're going to mulch. I have to do mulch as well. I like the red mulch 😁 please keep the classical music coming
Josh, I am so glad I found your channel. Your videos are really entertaining and you are some really tasty eye candy.
Great Job, Josh. Really enjoy your videos. You are a good and hard worker and so nice on the eyes. Not to mention a fun and nice person. I am really enjoying your YT videos, please keep them coming.
:) Thank you! Will do!
Now mulch it with wood chips or layers of fall leaves. This will grow fungi which perennials love.
I'll have to look into this :)

So like Bonzi? Also is do they make wiring for a larger tree like this to shape it?

Love doing yard work myself
If I could only find a muscular gardener, who would wear overalls and stop for flex breaks!
Hahaha :)
Flex breaks are essential.

Great work! Get yourself some gardening gloves. You'll be a great hubby some day, Josh. Cheers!
Lol we got a little Sam action , I found it so funny when he "walked away" 😂😂😂

When I saw them at tractor supply the lightbulb went off immediately lol.
You have so many talents you should write a book.
Those Dead leaves are some of the best mulch you can have for your garden!! Do you have a mulch pile?
I do! I hav a pile where I dumb all the brush. It won't be wasted!
Junipers can be trimmed and trained to grow up and not out. Don't be afraid to give it a good haircut.
Good to know. I’ll have to learn more about that but I had assumed you could train it to grow up. I cut it back a little last year I don’t wanna take off too much though. 😅
Inspirational gardening & chill. 🌿☘🌱🍃🌿
Just like this Josh 🤗
The Garden looks Great, & So do you!!! 💪💪😍😘⭐👍

THE HOT GARDNER
This makes me grateful that weeds exist.

I made the mistake of ripping stuff up too quickly last year. I have been paying more attention this year, but will always make mistakes.
I have to watch your videos while sitting in the refrigerator, otherwise I would just melt into a puddle. 😋

Great job! Love seeing the green thumb in action 😊 the forst plant just seemed like she needs a little more consosyent watering
That plant is a spreading yew. That gives me an idea………
Wanderfull josh
I love this video. Nice bach remixes.
You need to wear the Tarzan outfit when you garden. It's an outdoor thing. LoL 😜
I forgot to mention there are some plant identification apps online where you can take a photo of the plant leaves and the app will try to identify it for you.
Those apps are nice I used them a few times.
I have been using google app. There is a function where you can snap a photo and it does a really great job identifying them.
@@joshbigosh I never knew that google had an app for that. I will use it next time. Thank you Joshbigosh.

Water the transplants well
You are and adult in all aspect , but your face is so juvenil . Is like a baby doing a grow up job. Thanks for share.
I would have pruned and reshaped it.
I need you to come over and do my flower beds
Привет из России. Как Вы мне нравитесь, я тоже люблю работать на участке, в доме....
Is that first plant a yucca? Did you get pricked? Lolol
If it IS a yucca it needs full sun, might be drooping some due to shade.
Josh prune the juniper back
Well i used to hire the occasional gardener , and you do better than all of them put together!!!
What’s it like being so handsome that hundreds of people will watch you doing gardening? 😎
We need to get you a leave blower
I could help you garden, Josh. I have decades of experience ...
1) oddly enough, sexier with the shirt on. 2) couldn’t really tell, do you have space for a vegetable garden? Just some carrots, tomatoes, onions, cucumbers,?
Trim the juniper and make gin.
Instead of tying up the juniper wanna just trim instead!

And suddenly wearing a t-shirt………
Not every plant is pretty or worth keeping ... I don't like this one 🙂
