A lot of you guys wondering again how I fit 1 1/8 steering tube to the frame. The frame has a 34mm headtube, and your eye has been tricked by the 1 1/8 thread type fork of this bike. Not all thread type fork has a standard size so NO HEADTUBE CONVERSION happened here. always satisfying restoration I myself is restoring my bike but unfortunately, i haven't finished it yet because of no budget and I left it in the province. But planning to continue it when I got home and have enough budget
Loved the rebuild. Always impressed with the mods you do with limited resources. Great creativity and execution. Not sure what made this a gravel bike other than the handlebars. But it looks amazing! Really enjoying your channel and learning a lot. Thank you!
Sana next time yung akin namang bike mapili para sa next restoration mo idol. Sumali ako nung giveaway mo sa kasamaang palad hindi nga lang pinalad hehe continuing to support Coggie bike 🥰
Just a few random bike building tips When it comes to threading anything, it can not hurt to finger tighten it first before you use anything that gives leverage or any electric tool When finger tightening, especially on very fine threads, or soft metals. Don't directly screw it in, do the opposite until you feel it fall into place, and then start finger tightening it. It'll help make sure you do not cross thread Also, I have never used ltwoo. How are they? Do they compare to anything sensah or shimano? Also pt2, very minor. When you put the QR skewers on, especially with disc wheelsets. I like to have the lever part of the skewer on the same side as the disc rotor so then it matches the side it is on, front and rear. But overall, very good job, keep it up! :)
@@noburt9 Well mostly i think depends on the usage, since I seen people broke their LTWOO derailleurs either shifters because the quality is just some kind of durable plastic and steel or alloy, but stick to Shimano if you are overwhelming over drivetrain components, But any of that, for me is good, just few quick adjustments and you are done,
May I know po what kind of sealed bearing headset ang ginamit nyo at anong size?
Since the owner doesn't want to give the name(been seeing a lot of comments like this here and in the other videos) I'll be the one to give it instead surly corner handlebars. Found it in the other comments. I've been wanting to know it too.
Apaka solid talaga idol bagong sub. Mko pero dami kona nanood sa vidoe mo kasi me gusto ko mag ka bike kaso kulang sa budget kaya frame muna unuuna ko at nanonood ako ng mga ginagawa mo nakaka kuha ako ng idea kong ano pwd or i upgrade ko pag nag ka roon ako ng bike😊
How can i reach you out sir? I have a friend who have and old full suspension bike the fork was still rigid because as what i had said it is an old bike and it is very valuable to him with the memories he had riding it. He even climbed baguio with and heavy gearing and very rusty components and im really hoping that you could help him to restore his bike and put a fuel on his burning passion on cycling.
lol, I gotta ask, do you add the rooster sounds to the video or are there actually roosters in the area that you do your videos, because i hear them in all of your videos. Also I love how you cover up the welds it looks great. I have a 2021 GT Aggressor Pro and the welds on it look like crap so I would love to do that to mine.
'welds on it look like crap' 🤣. It's a GT (famous for their industrial style welds). That's like saying they you don't like your Porsche 911 cos they put the engine in the back 🤣🤣

I really like this one. Hadn’t seen bondonused to make welds look cleaner how? So smart only seen it used to foot little chips and stuff. Clean
I haven't perfected the welding and I tried using epoxies to make it look smooth
Ang ganda at ang galing! GT Avalanche din ako dati!
Really loving the colour combinations. Bike came out looking absolutely amazing.

Great restoration.. one thing i would have done differently, i would also mount the gear shift cable next to the rear brake cable along the top tube

23:38 you glued the cable guide. How are they holding up, okay? Do not fall off, do not peel off over time?
It's adhesive bro, risk cable guides has it

Thanks for the tip men.
Actually LTWOO user here, they are good crisp shifting, since Sram's factory in China shut down, the CEO of the factory invent his own bike parts,
@@nzo_6543 great to hear, is it durable too? I tend to neglect my bike parts. Also, doesn't sensah have a similar story. Made of ex sram engineers?
@@noburt9 Well mostly i think depends on the usage, since I seen people broke their LTWOO derailleurs either shifters because the quality is just some kind of durable plastic and steel or alloy, but stick to Shimano if you are overwhelming over drivetrain components, But any of that, for me is good, just few quick adjustments and you are done,

Nice build. But some advice. The sleeve aluminum on seat post steel and aluminum don’t mix anti seize grease on it.
Filipinos know their bikes! As a kid there, I saw bikes everywhere. In America, I hardly see bicyclists.
Amazing work always wow 😃😯
Thank you so much 😀
No you thanks
Galeeeng talaga lodi superr
Sir Eid Mubarak love from Pakistan
Hi Coggie,
is there a list of which products you use, for example primer, paint and paint remover?
Is there a specific brand that you can recommend?
Any paint stripper
13:30 Are these epoxy spray paint?
Where can I buy ragusa gravel handles overseas?
This looks boss .well done

Pwede mo bawasan ng volume yung pag may grinder medjo masakit kasi sa tenga lalo na pag naka earphone..😉
Great job!!
Are you sure that is a original Gt?
I'm dubious. It certainly isn't an Avalanche and most definitely isn't an AL, being made of steel was a slight giveaway 🤣
