Congratulations to the creators of these beautiful contents that for me are the most up-to-date on all of RUclips, there is nothing to discuss, they easily take first place in the landscape photography category. Blessings from México i love the rivers and the nature
I remember a wonderful boating holiday on the Shannon in 1975. Hot weather, cooking on board, fishing and eating pike, Irish craic and republican songs, Real Guinness - wonderful memories of the Irish people.
Had a chance to watch again Joseph's travel down the River Shannon. He knows I have already complained about his reference to the 'Shannon River' instead of the proper, culturally preferred reference to the 'River Shannon.' If you have a chance to watch this episode, note the conversation he has with the owner of the world's oldest bar, 'Sean's Bar.' In the conversation the owner clearly refers to the 'River Shannon.' My grandmother emigrated from the River Shannon, town unknown, to New Jersey around 1870 well after the famine of 1844-47. Somehow, her parents survived that period. Producers are supposed to catch these kinds-of-things. It's a small, perhaps petty thing to upbraid him and his broadcast for but the Irish have suffered enough! Get place names correct!
I'm disappointed that ye have by past limerick and king John Castle very disappointed on that when it's a part of the vikings and the history of limerick water transport
Really? The most scenic river journey in the world?? In what sense? Have you ever travel through Colorado River of USA? Or Yangtze River in China? Or the Irrawaddy of Myanmar?? Or have you ever travel around the world?? Don't claim something that you don't really know..dont be snobbish! As what the Kiwis and Aussies used to say of people from UK or Great Britain!
I heard "one of the most"... not.. "The most" As regards your comments: "Dont claim something that you dont really know"... "dont be snobbish" ... "have you ever travelled around the world?" Did you know that the river Shannon is not in Great Britian or the UK. It begins and ends in the Republic of Ireland. If you want to take pot-shots against people from Great Britain and the UK (like you claim the Kiwis and Aussies do)... pick something from those countries to shout about.
Have you ever been down the Shannon? Have you ever spent a night in JJ Hough's? When you've done both, you can offer up an intelligent reply. Good luck finding a great pint and mighty craic on the Colorado or Irrawaddy.
It is impossible to travel very far down, up or across the Colorado River, too many dams, far too shallow to navigate in most areas except in a kayak. Rivers in the southwest USA are nothing but small streams in the rest of the globe! BE HONEST AND TRUTHFUL! There is less than 10 inches of moisture in a calendar year in the Southwest USA and the COLORADO RIVER IS DYING from the years and years of drought!
@@kcstafford2784 IT IS NOT A REAL RIVER. I know because I live in NEW MEXICO and we have the Rio Grande which is also not a real river. You are attempting to confuse people with false information.
@@kcstafford2784 I said that in the context of the rest of the world--it is no RIVER it is nothing but a STREAM. A REAL RIVER AKA THE CHARLES RIVER, THE DANUBE, THE RHINE, THE THYMES, THE HUDSON RIVER, THE NILE, THE COLUMBIA, THE ST. LAWRENCE, ETC are REAL RIVERS! Even you--cannot compare these REAL RIVERS TO THE colorado stream!
First! Can't wait to watch this tonight!
Hope you enjoyed! 🌍✨

0:13 British Isles 'longest river'. [Reply to @f and @Mr 'Kilkenny cat I'm not']
Just to confirm that Ireland is no longer referred to as part of the British Isles.
So, not "British Isles River" it is Ireland's longest River.
And Mount Everest is the world's highest mountain. @@fionafromireland1054
not british isles. Ireland isn't part of the british isles. longest river in the british isles and Ireland
