It's really funny to see the Scots boast about a huge forest with 3 million trees. It is estimated that there are 400 billion trees in the Amazon Rainforest. 125 million of them were cut down in 2023, a considerable reduction compared to the number of trees cut down in 2022. The large forest mentioned in this video would be cut down in a few days in Brazil.
Another funny thing is seeing in this video a Japanese guy become a celebrity in the land of whiskey. The Japanese Embassy estimates that there are approximately 2 million Japanese people and descendants in Brazil, the largest population of Japanese origin outside of Japan. This week two Japanese relatives from a family who didn't know each other ended up getting in touch because of the text I published on internet for more than a decade about the writer Mitsuko Kawai (a Brazilian daughter of Japanese parents who translated hundreds of traditional Japanese stories into Portuguese).

They are not boasting, they love it. There are places in Britain that just capture you - it's not the size of it but something in nature. Some of the most beautiful music ever written was written about these nature spots. Listen to 'The Solent' by Vaughn Williams. There are about 50 such pieces written about these natural places. They are inspiring.
