Box was just okay. I don’t like mugs and hats I literally have zero use for. But the books is gorgeous and I’m reading it now and it’s very good.

This box!! This one!! That bag matches the one from the Divine Rivals box from last year ❤ I made a lining for the last bag so will do that too on this one. It’s stunning. What that hat? Yes, thank you, can I have another? The Jasad Heir was illumicrate, I think… maybe it’s FairyLoot, but that mug is nice. That keychain, one for me and one for my husband… or maybe one for the van and one for the car. That cover is so disappointing, either the UK or the US covers were nicer… the whole story is about blood witches so I think there was more they could do… it does read older, more like New Adult. The inside and reverse jacket and naked book are stunning! That one is for my list of getting the 2nd book when it comes in.

I enjoyed watching this video! I’m American so the version of the book I read was called Heartless Hunter. The two different titles are interesting. The Crimson Moth is referring to Rune Winters, whereas the Heartless Hunter is Gideon Sharpe. I’m guessing the publishers felt the different names would resonate better in different markets. I like both titles! The Fairyloot version is so pretty.

I do not read fantasy, romance, or books in a series, but I picked this book as my monthly pick from Book of the Month. I thought it sounded interesting. I really enjoyed the book. I will be reading the next book, and I don't like books in a series. Your copy of the book is gorgeous. Jealous! 😁
Im glad that you enjoyed it Melanie. It’s good to step out of our comfort zones with reading different genres to see if we like it; I’ve just read my first dark academia and it’s not for me, but I’m glad that I’ve found this out. Let’s hope it isn’t too long until the next one is released 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

As someone who read the Jasad Heir and gave it 5 stars, I am extremely disappointed in that cup! It is an Egyptian inspired fantasy adventure novel with heavy themes. I do NOT understand why they made the design so goofy?? It also doesn’t even give autumnal vibes…. to me it feels obvious that the artist was given a quote and they did not actually read the book before making the design. Which again is super disappointing to me because you wouldn’t see that happen with a larger book franchise like SJM!!
Yes! I think that it is quite typical of the artist for their style; but it doesn’t land for this book 🤷🏻♀️

I forgot to show the fairyscoop and the bookmark, so I added it on to the end of the video. I have no idea if they are going to always do a bound in author letter, and therefore not do the additional art print 🤷🏻♀️ sorry that I can’t be more helpful; I’ll keep my eyes on it over the next couple of months.

@@MichelleReadsandVlogs no, there is a character in the game Baldur's Gate 3 called Astarion who is a rogue (so knives, daggers and all that fun stuff) and the voice actor does streaming sessions. In one of these streams I believe he was asked is Astarion had to be an animal what would he be and the answer was goose and thus goosetarion was born and the fandom pretty much draws him like that goose on the mug but with his fluffy hair xD
