Coolum is a great location but sites I have been put on the last couple of stays were really tight. Road access was so narrow it was stressful just driving to the site. Made Cotton Tree sites & roads seem huge. Look forward to trying Noosa river park. Merry Christmas.
Enjoying watching your travels, trials and tribulations. Keep up the great work. A word of warning to those who wish to stay at the Mudjimba C/Park. We were there in July & were allocated sites in the "older" area near reception. The b***y bush turkeys made the trees above our vans their roosting sites and pooped all over the vans, awnings and cars. It made for a pretty disappointing week's stay, spending a long time cleaning everything. Management could not have cared less when we brought this to their attention. The rest of the park is quite nice though.

We didn't see any bush turkeys at the park, but they are a real problem on the sunny coast. Heard a funny joke about them once. If you're hungry, go and catch a turkey. Put it in pot of boiling water with a rock. When the rock turns soft, eat the rock. Ha Ha
They all look great, disappointed that you didn’t rate Dickie Beach, we have stayed there heaps, in big groups and by ourselves, it’s got good clean facilities, close to cafes and shopping centres, and right on a surf patrolled beach, we often refer to Dickie Beach as a bolt spot, where we go when we just want to get away quick.further up around Bundy, Elliot Heads is the most beautiful spot. Heaven on earth.
Hey guys I love following you and your banter. But this blog has to many Dog references. If you say it's not a dog friendly park leave it at that don't keep going on and on and on.... Good if it is a dog park and good if it's not.
