- Achieving a backcountry slam (catching a bonefish, tarpon and permit in one day) in the Florida Keys is rare. But more women are stepping up to the challenge. Three expert anglers from different walks of life bring the stoke and drama of the difficult quest to the big screen.
Listening to these amazing women talking about Joan Wulff with the same respect and admiration as we men talk about Lefty, Flip,, Joe Brooks and so many others is great!! Hope one day to see many more out on the flats chasing ghosts and a-hole permits.

Fisherman; A person who catches fish for a living or for sport.
They're trying to push this female empowerment agenda instead of just showing these fisherman for what they are, lovers of the water, nature and fishing.
All the women in my family fish. Most of the women that I know fish so it's not like they're some kind of rarity.
STOP! Stop politicizing things And just show people fishing regardless of gender.
I know I hate gender politics being injected.
