True, but I heard that Sykes dissed Norum one time, something about copying him. I hope it's not true, both good guitarists. I hate ego.
@@dougmasters4579 where did you hear that? Sykes and Norum have absolutely not the same sound, gotta love Sykes, huge influence of mine along Norum and many other guitarist, but he has to be tone deaf to think Norum copies him lmao

@@madden7732 I agree btw, they sound nothing alike. If he did say that, it's out of jealousy, because Norum is a vastly superior guitarist. All those 80s guitarists come from the same influences, which is why they sound similar, no one ripped off anyone.
