He mentioned just tearing off a small section of the hula stick. What's the benefit of doing that if Z-man already has the TRD ticklers? Does one have salt and the other doesn't?
@@andresmartinez1822 Jokes on me I guess because I do already have both of them. Just wanting to see his brain process on how he viewed the two baits differently when he made on to be the same as the other.
@@Mr.Higgs. fair enough.. I personally am skeptical of Zman soft baits as I have never had much success throwing them.. at this point it’s likely confidence as I am much faster to reach for other plastics.. in terms of the differences he mentioned the length of the bait which I have found is critical if you are looking for that “stand up” presentation.. half a senko will stand up like a Ned if you cut it the right length or shorter. You can find the sweet spot by holding it upside down and pinching the middle.. as you pinch closer to the tail the bait will stop keeling over.. there’s my Ned rig
I think he is just doing it for convenience, I have heard of people that buy hula sticks and rip them in half to get a TRD and a hula stick… two baits out of one. Or maybe he just wants a slightly longer tickler? I buy all of them and fish them as they come 🤷
Ever have trouble with algae along the bottom fouling football heads ? Algae is driving my wife and I both crazy fouling texas-rigged baits lately.
Thanks for the great tips! What weight jig were you using there?
Can’t wait to get me some of them
football headz
Look at all those electronics up there! And the NRX!! Must be nice to be Warren Buffets nephew! Lol
In an $80,000 boat...
Almost like he’s a pro… lol
Brandon... right.
Sorry. Didn't look at the "show more". 1/4oz

hula sticks come in different colors as well, could be it.

Sounds like an advertisement for Zman. Don't want to snag? Use lighter jigheads.
Some places you'll get snagged regardless in certain rocky places of lakes. I've even lost 1/8 dropshot sinkers and jig heads.
Now show us how to do it without using all those electronics 🤦
😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
