- Winter Wonderland is not always about Christmas and beautiful nights but also about some real fun. Bergün offers one of the best winter adventures, which is very suitable for newbies, families or people traveling in groups. Bergün is known for the longest sledding course of all of Switzerland. Besides the thrill, this lane will also lead you to pass the many viaducts of one of the most impressive railway lines of Switzerland: The Rhaetische Bahn. For train enthusiasts, Bergün and its surrounding is definitely a hotspot in Switzerland. This very underrated place however offers more than only scenic train rides and adventurous sledding: Bergün is one of Switzerland’s prettiest villages that is very much worth to explore. Definitely, when coming up here, you will get many great memories and unforgettably beautiful impressions.

@@DjemoGraphic Das ist sie wirklich bin ein RhB Fan seit ich Denken kann und für mich war schon seit damals klar was ich werden wollte. Mein Favorit ist und bleibt jedoch die Bernina Bahn.

@@DjemoGraphic Die Bernina Bahn kann ich nur Empfehlen, wandere jedes Jahr mindestens einmal von St. Moritz nach Tirano (seit letztem Jahr wegen Corona nur bis Campocologno)

oh I went here for my 20th birthdayhad the funniest day of my life. it was freezing balls...like -25 degrees.... but overall the speed, the crashes, the tightest turns damn funny n fun. I may have bruised my tailbone but I stop laughing. Also if ur out of controlsuggest a bell on ur sled so ppl know ur coming. Pls be the slow one dangerous...n stop in the middle of the way. the weather wear 3 gloves and like 3 2 socks and shoes w thick soles GLASSES! or u will not see n be covered in snow. GO! HAVE FUN!

Wow! I’ve sledded in the mountains just north of Chur - after having a fondue dinner, of course. But, I didn’t know there was a run under that bridge. That’s a better way to experience it than just on the train which seems to last for just a minute or so.

Hey. I am sure this is a great idea. During Summer you cant go sledding, but the village is definitely worth a visit. During Winter, a stop is a MUST :)

Hey Demo what a beautiful video! I am visiting Chur this December and planning to do this! Just had a couple of queries. Do we have to rent the sled in Bergun itself? And does it require advance reservations? Like can I show up and ask to rent? Also, what is the rent for the full day? I already have a Eurail pass so will I need any other train ticket to travel from Chur to Preda and then again Bergun to Preda if I plan to do it a second time? Thanks!
Watching this made me excited for the winter. This sled trail looks awesome. Is it too difficult to do it with little kid? I love sledding. With our little one we went sledding a lot previous winter. I hope the upcoming will be as plentiful with snow as the previous one.

Hi may. Thank you very much for your nice comment. I flew my drone in easy spots until I got sufficiently good flying skills. Though having played games a lot on the console when I was younger, it was quite easy for me to learn it. I always check the map on BAZL.ch, to ensure flying is allowed. If there are too many people around, I will always try to find a better starting spot where there are less people; sometimes, it helps to talk to them about your purpose so they won't complain.

Hi. You may rent the sledge in Bergün or Preda. You can return it at either of the places. You will really love this toboggan run, you may take my word! :)

Hi Markus. Hehe, you are the first one who noticed this. I got this sledge from my friend, as I forgot my own sledge at my holiday appartment. When I tried to slide down I realized that the sledge is no longer sliding well and it often stopped. So I went to rent another sledge instead. However, the 3rd time I went down when it was near sunset, I had to slide down with the Davoserschlittä. It was eventually okay, but not as fun as with the other one. The whole toboggan run takes about 15 minutes, depending on how fast you are sledding down. The length is around 6km.

I could actually tell by the speed that you rode something else. Sunny days are good for your videos bad bad for the speed. I was born and raised in Chur but have been living in Australia for the last 22 years.
