Number five is my favorite, one of the best kid actors I've seen in a long time, can't believe he's only 15 in real life and is already this great of an actor. He stole every scene he was in. Diego fight scenes were amazing as well.

I finished watching Umbrella Academy today..I really like it.It gives me fuel to function and eagerness..And becoz season 2 is not out yet,My brain's telling me that i should watch Stranger things since i got nothing to watch..And my cousins been Recommending it to me..But yeah,i think you're right.I kinda like U.M than S.T,Even thou i haven't watch stranger things yet.

I love them all! I especially want more bro bonding scenes between Diego and Klaus, though. They have such good chemistry on screen.
And as much as I love Tom Hopper, Luther has to be the biggest disappointment of them all. He just kept screwing up the same exact way, over and over again! Had he been genuinely forgiving of Vanya from the get-go, the apocalypse would have been averted! Even after he locked her up, had he listened to Allison and followed her lead at each and every single screw-up after that, the apocalypse could have been averted. But time and time again, he listened to no one and did things his own way, making the same mistake over and over again! He's really the reason the apocalypse couldn't be avoided. He's too prideful.
You cant really blame him, first off they dont know she is the cause of the apocalypse at that time, second he finds out her powers are too strong and uncontrollable from pogo and third she cut her own sisters throat and left her there to die. In my mind id lock her up too, she is too dangerous at the moment.

It has been reiterated several times in the show that the apocalypse will always happen with Vanya as the trigger by the Handler and even by Number 5. It's kinda liked a fixed point in history if we're going by the Doctor Who mythos. Of course the (possible) second season could subvert that but as far as this season is concerned, it's presented as inevitable. Spaceboy locking Vanya isn't just the incident that turned her, it's just the cherry on top considering how shitty they were raised by Hargreeves and The Rumor 'betraying' her by making her believe she doesn't have any special abilities at a young age. Harold Jenkins used her as well. Even Diego minimized her presence there (although it's a spur of the moment) when they were attacked by Hazel and Cha-Cha in the mansion. She also believes everyone resents her (maybe not Five) because of her tell-all book about them. It's all of those things and more. We can see the trajectory leading up to her becoming the White Violin through the episodes and it's not all on Luther. If anything Hargreeves adopting them, his obsession with the end of the world (kinda hinted he knows what's going to happen) and him being a crappy father started the whole thing. As Number 5 put it, his siblings grew up to be emotionally stunted men-children.

That part was for the OP. The Handler, sure, she has the resources of the Temps Aeternalis at her disposal but not Five.

The answers lie in h.p. lovecrafts novels and the watchmen's reference to it. Ben is that personified/characterized.

Yeah, while I was watching though it I thought the same thing.
Not really. They didn’t view their father as their father and were raised as individuals in a team, rather than a family. They all knew that they weren’t related, and that the only reason they live under the same roof is for training and control over them.
So, no, I don’t think it’s weird. They’re friends rather than siblings, and even then the line is blurred between friends and enemies.
Here's another one, In the comics, Diego is secretly in love with Vanya.
To be honest I didn’t really view them as a family type of family but rather family in name kind of relationship. They’re separate individuals, but all grew up together and raised together in one household, so they are a family, but I don’t see them as being a blood related type relationship family (not saying they are blood related, but how people view siblings that seem like they are blood related but they aren’t) that you see. So, it’s not weird at all, plus Allison and Luther liked each other as kids so I don’t think they really viewed themselves as a family type of siblings, but a family in name type of siblings if that makes sense.

he really pissed me off at the end. Most of what happened could have been avoided if he just treated Vanya like a sister rather than an enemy, it drove her to become the person they treated her as. If he truly let Allison go about it her way, I don't think things would have gone as apocalyptic

I'm not gonna, lie I was so shocked when Ellen got cast as Vanya cause the costume in the comic is completely different and was so nervous for her. *BUT SHE PULLED IT OFF!!!*
I hated/strongly disliked Luther, the amount of air he had annoyed the living daylights out of me there's a lot more but I don't want to be rude, also, it shows how great Tom. But omg, I *LOVED LOVED LOVED* Klaus, I think his name is Robert, great actor, I felt so bad for him and after watching his life story in the graveyard, made me look addicts a lot different. Great cast and Ellen Paige was just amazing. The sisterly love that she had with Allison felt real and just amazing. Diego, I loved Diego, he loved his mother, although he did kill her, but still... everybody makes mmustakes.😅 I loved Ben and Klaus' relationship, they were great, he was incredibly patient with Klaus, caring and incredibly, I hope in season 2(if they will make season 2) we get to see more of him(even if he's back in kid form)...
Edit: I *LOVED* #5, lol, my cousin watched the actor on Nick and he is really good. Lol, him and Delores were just adorable to watch, especially when he told the lady in the store to give her something to wear... 😂🤣😅 so awkward and couldn't stop laughing. NETFLIX, bring season 2!!

Eh I think that is more true lately than it was earlier in her career. Her performance in “Super” was nothing like this and was incredible, however that was about 10 years ago.

I love how doom patrol came out around same time as umbrella academy. I loved umbrella academy so much and wasn’t too disappointed when it ended, because now I get to watch doom patrol!!!

I love how Aidan is such a young gentleman and he dresses fancy and is polite to everyone. He’s just a handsome 15 year old and he talks like an adult would and that’s very interesting to me and hot to me because I’ve never seen a 15 year old boy like this in my life.

@@LeahB31 no, actually when he first traveled and arrived at the apocalypse he yelled his siblings names so there must be another reason why he wasnt named (or it simply was a script mistake but i doubt it)
Maybe he didn’t feel connected to his name. Maybe he was so used to being called “5” he just couldn’t stick to the new name his mom gave him. Just my opinion or it could as well be a writer’s mistake.

I just love Klaus and Ben. I don't know. With the really short time that Ben was in scene, he was so funny but also really serious, trying to take Klaus in the good path so he can use the real power his abilitys have, and that really make me like the character. I will love to see how he died, because is never explain, and, with the second opportunity they have, It could be possible to stop Ben's dead? That could be awesome too.
literally everyone ik including me has finished it in 2 days. ITS SOO GOODD I thought it was a flop from the trailer but still watched it and I LOVE IT SO MUCH OH MY GOD. The scenes feel like they're shot so well and the story ugh its just sooo good and it makes me happy.
