My favorite characters are klaus and 5 but I'll tell you Ellen Page killed it as Vanya. She perfectly showed off Vanya's isolation and personal sadness. Great work from the whole cast.

S Sh I thought he was really good at an American accent. Yeh not the best, but when you’re acting among several American actors who have spent 30+ years with the accent, you’re never gonna be the best. Tom Hopper, on the other hand, I thought he was pretty bad at it

Hazel & Cha cha Kicked ass in this show like seriously.. I Definitely didnt expect all that from Mary J Blige aka Queen of Hip Hop & Soul.. Her fight scenes doing the Merry Go Round on Hazel's Neck was fucking Epic one of the best part of this show... Klaus was another good character that entertained as well. I hope they add more season soon..This show is good 😁👍👍👍👍👍

Can I just say how awesome of an actor Cameron Britton is? He also starrred in Mindhunter as the serial killer Edmund Kemper, where he was amazing. I recognized him quite quickly, even when I had to think for a while about where I know him from. Hazel is a cool character in the show, really is.

He was very underrated in Mindhunter, and he did look like real life Edmund Kemper. Hope he will return in season 2.

I watched the first episode and came back with a huge dot of disappointment. Acting wise everybody except Ms. Page had terrible delivery lines. The whole episode was just a big question mark and goes by way too fast. In a show like Breaking Bad, you understand Walter’s circumstances and his life before his cancer diagnosis. In this show you start out without any explanations as to what is happening, there’s so much bullshit that discombobulates and slaughters such an interesting plot line.
Dutch van der Linde I loved the show, but I agree with you. Up until about the 6th episode I had no idea what was going on at any time, they kept using terms that weren’t explained prior and it was just really hard to watch. However, at the end everything FINALLY came together more or less and i ended up really loving it. If you haven’t yet, I suggest you watch the whole thing. The pacing and everything else gets better the further you go in.
This is one of the best shows on Netflix hands down it was amazing

theyre going back in time to when they were all kids from the looks of it, before ben died. you'd be hard pressed to find another young actor like adian gallagher let alone 6 but I'm my hype for season 2 the cast was perfect
I feel this show is the best superhero series that Netflix has ever done. The cast performed so well they made it look easy; I am very impressed. That Ellen Page was in it (fellow Canuck here) really drove the nail home. Been watching her act since Regenesis.

I only knew Gerard Way from music and music only. I saw his name as the creator on the screen, I'm like "what?" I look him up. No new articles regarding the new season with his name attached, it seems. I'm like "oh, cool," then I search up his name and the series name together. I jumped. That man is so incredibly talented.

I didn't really know what to expect before I saw it but I ended up really invested in the show and the characters. Loved it.
No one is talking about Kate Wash (the handler), she does a really good job too, very different character than the one in 13 reasons why.

I had been hyped for this the whole day in school. Telling my friends about it and already picked Klaus as my favorite from an article I read with Gerard explaining him then see8ng him in the trailer. We had a two hour early realise so I got home 2:30. I just binged watch Umbrella Acedemy until 6:00 when my father took me to a movie. The movie was truly great (Stan and Ollie), but damn. If you haven’t watched Umbrella Acedemy or read the book I HIGHLY recommend you do. It was amazing from the start. On ep four five or six, I don’t remember. But there’s ten in the first season and there all an hour long! 10 hrs of Gerard Ways amazing masterpiece! Lol. I love it.

I never realized that aiden was actually that young... Hollywood usually casts 30 year olds to play high schoolers so I’m very pleasantly surprised to see that aiden is actually the age he’s portraying to be.

How can you watch a ten part 10 series and love every character. Brilliant casting, direction and set design. And that killer soundtrack. The scene with klaus playing sinnerman in his headphones oblivious to a war going on is epically funny cool and beautiful.
I found Ellen's character on Beyond: Two Souls similar to Umbrella Academy more actually. Even tho it is a game she played that character and nailed both of them I think.

Just wanna say, one reason I like Five is because he's a time traveler, and one thing I like about Time Travelers is those little moments where they'll say something like, "Let's see, I must've got that from (Insert historical figure here)." So that's only one reason why I like Five, also that scene where he kills people to Istanbul.
