I definitely needed this. Not young anymore so I regularly feel worn out and it's really disheartening trying to learn again and sounding bad every third day.
Your a star. Respect from the uk.

Even in my 20s I was going through the same thing. I’ve definitely been there where every third day or so was a bad chop day. It was a vicious and annoying cycle. What do you personally do on those days?

Hi Aaron! Love your videos, they have helped me a lot. I've been playing for a few months now and am trying to learn Strasbourg/st. Denis right now. I struggle with the high b-flat right now, I've seen someone talking about smaller mouthpieces is better for playing high notes. Right now i use a Jupiter 7C, could i still play higher notes with that mouthpiece or should i get a smaller one?

Another question: is there a book, that you might suggest, that could lead a musician from basic reading of charts, up through scales (there seems to be dozens or more of scales). chords, etc. I guess I'm looking for a"beginner's guide to music theory", but maybe a bit beyond basics so there is a glossary or index to help when more advanced terms and subjects get bandied about, one can use as a referral guide?
