    This has to be my favorite incarnation of Wynton's group. No one can swing like Herlin Riley!

    Thanks for the upload. Recessional is one of my inspirational songs. I first heard it on SA fm on The Evergreen Jazz hosted by the humble Ike Phaahla way back in 2004.

    I saw 'In This House' when he played at The Albert Hall in London back in the early 90's. One word... excellent.

      ...1993 Proms, great gig. Same piece, different tempo and feel - remarkable when you realise the entire thing was a 'work in progress'.

      Kkk que viagem. A última coisa que se relaciona aó jazz é natureza. Jazz é totalmente urbano. Não já jazz fora dos centros urbanos. Só se aprende jazz em escolas e são todas nas cidades e nenhum jazzista tem por hábito curtir natureza.

    Boring like 50% that marsallis shows. To much tradicional to much winds.

      Well a lot of trad jazz is blown, like... winds 🤔

    • @JuergenQuetz-i9s
      @JuergenQuetz-i9s Год назад +1

      Sorry to disagree! Wynton uses "gospel" form (like Coltrane in "A Love Supreme") in a "modal" mood. That's not "trad" as you may think.
