- An international team led by researchers at the RIKEN Cluster for Pioneering Research (CPR) has engineered a system for creating remote controlled cyborg cockroaches, equipped with a tiny wireless control module that is powered by a rechargeable battery attached to a solar cell. Despite the mechanic devices, ultrathin electronics and flexible materials allow the insects to move freely.
In this video:
All electronic components were attached to the dorsal region of G. portentosa. First, we confirmed that the stimulation was not applied before charging the battery. After the simulated one-sun illumination was applied to the organic solar cell module on G. portentosa for 30 min, locomotion control was attempted multiple times, confirming that wireless locomotion control was successfully performed repeatedly.

This is wicked and evil.
This has been a Kickstarter project in 2013.
They just added a solar panel^^ You needed a full team for that?
amazing...better yet...how do you prevent decay/autolysis?
How are you controlling it?
Rare that I will commit on things...but this is questionable ethics, at best!... what are we thinking here people?...end game is?...slavery?....
How u controlling muvementof the creature is it trained or u placed electrods to its brain and force it to muve somehow?
You cam here from inshorts ?hehe
@@vaibhavarora3128 im from russia, i saw a news about that in some small telegram channel about internet security
@@vaibhavarora3128 im just thinking is this creature a zombie or they trained it. And if its acts like a zombie if they force it to muve its mean they can make human zombies in the future too right?
@@vaibhavarora3128 i did. Lol

😂
Its an real cockroach with the sticker top
This is disgusting and cruel - you have no respect for creatures ... .
This doesnt hurt it dont worry
@@d.e.a.dgaming654 This is not just about pain. It is about respect for the lives of other beings. It's disgusting to force them to live a life of this kind.
