Thanks for the review. The EUY F6 was my 1st 'save' on Amazon... 18AH for $1099 is GREAT! But, I went with the GForce T42 11AH for trail riding and rugged use...
Having mag wheels instead of spokes is a HUGE plus. Spokes on the back wheel get loose, they break, the wheel gets warped("untrue,"or whatever they call it), and it's a hassle. I ride everyday, no car, and I'm sick to death of dealing with spokes. Not many bikes come with mag wheels and when they do, it can raise the price of the bike a couple of hundred dollars, but with the EUY, you're getting them at no extra cost. This is big. It more than makes up for other deficiencies(You can put some glue on the handlebars to cure those loose grips.) Also, that Rattan has a modest 13AH battery, whereas the EUY's comes with a whopping 18AH. The 18AH is going to provide significantly more range. This is the only bike I've seen in this price range having a battery that big. You get a lot of bang for your buck with this EUY bike.
my fat tire max's out at 20mph and I can imagine that is plenty fast enough to damage me real good in a wreck. Although sometimes I would like to go faster, I am glad I can't do the 30 of that EUY ! You glossed over the flip up action of that seat. That is huge. My GEN 3 groove has the same design but not flip seat. I replaced the quick release with a fixed bolt so no one can easily run off with my seat, but without that flip option, battery removal becomes a real pain. Also those flip pedals (if not too low quality) are awesome. I am always removing one to pack in the car and it's just another hassle the EUY, apparently, avoids.
For $1300 dollars you can get a whole lot more for what you pay for. Good on you for not totally praising the thing. I'm losing faith in all these RUclipsrs who find no faults with these budget bikes and then say if you buy it use their link so they get some money. Never trust a reviewer that says that.
Thanks! I totally agree. There are tons of these budget bikes popping up. It’s not like they are bad. But as you said there are a lot of other options that might make more sense for the money
Very nice review Larry, I'm buying this bike tomorrow, it's on sale at Amazon for just 1,099 bucks, the mags wheels and big battery is the selling point for me..keep up the good reviews ok. Brooklyn shout-out...
Great review. Just bought 2 for the wife and I. I'm 255ish. Lol How much do you weigh? Did you have any issues with the weight? We'll be casual riders. Mainly at campground's. Now it's a 20 amp battery.
Prefer e-scooters over bikes (no need for pedals), but was shopping at one point. I’m on a Vsett 10+ R. My bro owns a Trek “Allant” though - albeit not exactly a big fat tire type bike.
Where I live is too sketchy for bikes or pedestrians with no sidewalks or bike lanes on two lane roads. That's why I ordered a Lightning ⚡ lol. Has your Lariat been scheduled yet?
You could keep it at pedal assist 1 or 2. But this would not be my recommendation for a child. I would look at some 350-500w bikes. They are less tourq-y and have safer speeds
EUY F6 now 20AH and $749 on Amazon... Awesome Deal!

Larry, awesome video. I notice your brake does not squeak. Mine squeak so badly, both front and rear. Do you have any suggestions?
You probably have oil or grease on your break pads/ rotors. I would try cleaning your rotors with alcohol. Then swap your pads
Is the throttle independent? And does the throttle take you to 28mph?
I just bought the euy one for $700 new so this seems like a steal tbh
