@@albertolombardimusic Loved your informative lesson. Great stuff = explained clearly & easy-to-digest. I've met Nile about 4x's - taking his classes & also-clubbing in NYC. He is so cool, humble & down-to earth. Super nice guy . . . All about The Music.
Thanks Alberto that was fun. I managed the exercises playing with you. I will certainly run through that a few times. A Metronome is always a great help in sorting out quarter notes sixteenth notes etc. You make music fun….and you explain things so well.🎸✅
Ciao Alberto! Great tutorial - "few words / much meaning" & plenty of digestible detail, clarity, & food for thought!!! On cross pollinating styles: in Jackson Browne's MTV(?) video in a warehouse, of "Somebody's Baby," the bass player does a "slap / funk" solo in the middle of the song. It fits seamlessly into the song & really adds spice to the whole endeavor. Thanks again, & kind regards!
@@albertolombardimusic You know him better than I do, & on a higher level↔😇. I'd never heard of that song &/or album until you mentioned it, so I checked it out. I love Jackson Browne too, & have 4-5+ favorites of his compositions, but I've found listening to him too much can lead to depression. That's how vivid his lyrics & the musical mood he arranges are. The music alone is outstanding! Ciao & kind regards!
Dear Alberto thanks for another video so special...i would have a difficult question...why After playing funky my lead tone becomes Better..? .it's fatter, Warmer....

My records and said super nice words. I play with his former band mates 💛
@@albertolombardimusic Wow - congratulations brother. That is fantastic.
Even if you're not particularly interested in funk if you learn some funk guitar it will make you a better player in whatever style you play in.
