If you are wondering how I have multiple Evokers or want to know how I was leveling them and getting kills so fast stick around for the end of the video (forbidden evoker technology).
Using the ancient memories on yourself is actually huge! You also don't need to be in a party at all either, can use it and finish the quest completely solo. The assaults are definitely best for the grind though.
I used the ancient memories on myself but it just gave me a temporal gossamer item in my bag with a "!" on it, like those quests you can learn from an item in your bag. However, when i try it says i don't meet the requirements for that quest. Send help
Another tip for evokers recently getting their gem is to talent Sleep Walk and CC the elementals before zapthrottling them that way they wont ever cast their CC o you. (bonus points if u have a beacon to the beyond. sleepwalk>zappthrottle>beacon>collect)
Thanks for the guide! I got it last night on my alt. I feel bad because none of the evoker mains in my guild have even seen it drop for anyone before. I got into heroic on my evoker for the first time last night and got AOTC and the legendary at the same time. They are understandably a little salty. Not at me, but just in general. The quest to complete it is very expensive, very long, but... I think that is okay. It feels like an accomplishment beyond just "I got lucky in raid".
So mad that I killed it on LFR normal and Heroic each week. Only to find out that my first kill is the only that matter... and i always do LFR first cause its easiest. GL voker fam out there still grinding will update if i get it.
It's not the first kill that matters. It's the highest difficulty that matters. Let's say Heroic was a 3% drop chance. If you do heroic first that's your max 3% chance unless you do mythic. But if you do LFR, and that's 1%, then normal that's 2% (but you did lfr before hand so it was only 1% actually). Then heroic at 3%, but you did LFR and Normal, so it's only an extra 1%. So LFR>N>H = 3%. OR H only = 3%. same thing. less work. It's all dumb. But I think that's how blizzard's post abut drop rate works out.

If you kill them in order from LFR to N to H, at 1% chance each, it will have a 2.97% chance to drop. If you do N then H (or LFR then H), it will have a 2.98% chance to drop. So while very insignificant haha and some would argue inconsequential, there's a difference.

If you get to roll one dice for 3/100 chance on heroic or a 1/100 chance on lfr then a 1/100 for norm and a 1/100 chance for heroic if you do them in order then you are correct. Blizzard could also just say you get 3 1/100 dice per week, one dice from each difficult and then order doesn’t matter. I’m assuming it’s more like the latter option where you get ‘insert x number of dice’ per week to roll and the difficulty just gives you a different amount of dice, but not actually change the value of each individual dice

I was really excited when I got my gem to drop, but by the end of the quest, I wished the other Evoker in my guild got it instead LOL. I never want to see another Fyrakk Assault in my life.
just got mine to drop and finished all the unique new crafting reagents in 3 hours, now i just gotta drop a bunch of gold. the fyrakk assaults were so easy especially with the 50% bonus to vestigal’s
I get my legendary quest this week in a heroic run, that make me feel so happy, then I need to farm for 2 days all materials (I need stop play wow for go to work)
I think you forgot to mention that the Temporal Gossamer buff can actually stack to 100% if you restored the memories on yourself and another crafter to get the item
I was STUPID lucky and got my gem on my very first LFR kill just after getting to the min ilvl needed to queue for it. Down side is that I haven't been able to get into normal / heroic raid pugs because my ilvl is still dogwater, so I'm still farming the Ancient Elementium Fragments.
Hi, very informative video, but I'm kind at stuck on the self-buff. I tried using the Ancient Memories on myself alone, and in party with someone else. I receive the Gossamer but can't start the quest, it says "you don't meet the requirements for that quest". Might this be locked unless you have one of the professions needed for the 3 crafts?
Have your thoughts changed on levelling multiple evokers now that you have it on main? Would you do it again or recommend it to others, or does it seem too extreme in retrospect?
Do the temporal vestigial thingies stack? I have one quest on my evoker ready to complete which I got when helping out another and since I can still theoretically get two more while making my own, could I get 150% more?
Can you only farm for the fleeting glowspores and temporal vesgtials ONLY after you get the quest from sark (the leggo drop) or can this be done prior to getting that item from the boss?

How long do we think this thing is going to be relevant? Cause I got the Lego quest on a rat alt and frankly if it’s gonna be obsolete come 10.2 I’d rather keep the 300-500k gold.
You get 3x chances just by doing heroic, as the game rolls your lfr and normal chances into your heroic roll. If open the box makes you feel better you could kill the boss three times, but would need to do lfr then normal then heroic. If you do heroic first you will not be eligible to loot it from normal lfr that lock out
I despise this awful drop rate. Hope I see it before the next major patch considering I'm a heroic raider who does M+ and I don't want to devolve to degeneracy just to get the item for M+ lol
Wow I am glad I did not bother trying to get this on my evoker. Did not realize how obnoxious this was. Grinding is grinding and I'm fine with that. That feels satisfying when you get it done. Do content and get reward. The crafting part is probably my most disliked thing of this. Not really satisfyingly or anything and more just unnecessarily convoluted. Also really just encourages you to buy tokens which I am never a fan of. I absolutely despise legendary power being tied to gold. Bad taste in my mouth from Shadowlands on that one.
It's an MMORPG. Of course it's going to involve gold. Just because you're too lazy to earn your own gold and buy it, doesn't mean that it's a bad thing for things to cost gold.
If you think about it, the average person doing this is only going to have there main evoker, say the average patch length is about 20 weeks give or take, so 13 of the 20 weeks you would be without your legendary, and thats saying the person is clearing heroic the first week so for someone whos a bit more casual, say it takes 3 weeks for them to get aotc, thats 16 of your 20 weeks done, so by the time you actually get your legendary, given you’ve farmed it every single week, the patch is essentially over and your transitioning into 10.2 😢
@@Clewlessly on average most evokers aren't going to see it drop. It's drop rate is ~1.5% on Heroic, 2% on mythic. The odds are if you play evoker and aren't degenerate you won't get to play with this item. Kinda sucks if you ask me, no one has ever liked RNG yet blizzard keep insisting on shoving it in our game.

He made a new account, made evokers on it and transferred them over to his main account to bypass the system that prevents you having more than one Evoker on a server
How the tier difficulty thing works for drop chance makes absolutely zero sense, I’m guessing they made the drop chance on lower difficulty levels so abysmally small that over a thousand rolls it would make no difference. However theres always going to be that one guy that didnt get it on hc, didn’t get it on normal, but then got it on LFR, no matter HOW small of a chance they make it, it’s a stupid design, the ONLY way that makes sense is if the chance of it dropping on a lower tier is EXACTLY zero, just make it a lock out for the week, or u know reduce the drop chance, by whatever % the lower tier drop chance is, if u go from lower to higher. Unless the wording used here is by design make people queue into lower tier anyway, it seems so riddiculously malicious that it’s making me angry, (yes i main evoker).

Dig maps can be bought with barter boulders. 1 boulder=1 map

Use Sleep on earth elemental before you use Soul inhaler. Much easier.
Did 3 Dig scenario. Got 20 15 15. I did zero Pile/tressure hunting.
You can CC elementals with sleep walk before applying Soul Inhaler.
Finally got it on my 2nd evoker, few days after i decided to make another Evoker for an extra chance :D

In season 4 I think they patched giving yourself the quest. I can use it on myself to learn how to craft the item, however it does not give a quest.

I think so yes, I have jewelcrafting on mine and was able to do the quest and use the item by myself (only random groups for worldbosses)

Its mythic raid ilvl from 10.2
Problem is recipe buff last 30 min and craftimng time is 32 min.

You need kill Raid bosses, any difficulty, I only need 6 heroic bosses to get 20

Each evoker is multiplying your chance of getting it since each has a separate lockout for the week

They do the LFR and Normal rolls at the same time as your heroic kill.
Gamemasters should not intervene in the game
