  • Hey everyone! Welcome to my new unboxing & review of the Mingda Magician MAX 3D Printer!
    -320*320*400mm
    -Auto-Leveling
    -Silent Board
    -Direct Drive
    -UltraBase Bed
    -Lightweight
A very good printer after a small issue with the quality control: which just seemed to be a one-off on my side. Large and on the cheaper side considering all of the features you get!
If you end up with this printer you wont be sad!

I love how relaxed you are in this video and joke around. Keep it up and I love the honesty. I would like to see a small tutorial of how you set up your cura profiles for your new printers in case I or anyone else decides to get them and we experience issues or are completely new to printing.

I remember not too long ago I was looking around some of the more obscure brands of printers and always finding mixed or negative reviews, it seems nowadays more and more these smaller competitors and making competent and even competitive machines, it's good to see and will hopefully drive innovation and higher quality

Nice printer. Love the review. Can see you are getting so comfortable doing this. My opinion for the price tag I'd go for the kobra max. 400x400x450 for the same price but it's bowden tube. Havnt had it fail me yet.

I’m considering this printer. I have the Mingda Magician X which is exactly the same just smaller. I have a CR10s as well and I think I would like this one much better. My was solid from the get-go. I also have a Mingda GoldfishX (the resin printer from same company). Customer service has been awesome for me. The goldfish had a broken part that I’m not sure was my fault or company but they sent me 2 more replacements right away. I had to pay shipping but it came quick. Overall I love this company and print often with them both with no trouble at all.

I chose this printer for the bed size, unfortunately none of the reviews I watched said anything about the very poor support you get from Mingda. Printer lasted about a month after delivery and have been corresponding with support for the last few weeks. I did a firmware upgrade downloaded from Mingda website, when the upgrade finished I had an error show which locked the printer cost me more money to replace the motherboard.
I really regret buying a 3D printer now.

Hey Frank, I got this printer a couple days ago and I can not get my prints consistent. I've tried playing around with different settings and different slicers and printing multiple times with the settings I changed and the prints always seem to fail, get messed up, or not even start. What slicer(s) and settings did you use to get results? Thanks so much
