I think you guys should add the number in the title, it's hard to find and follow along sometimes if you're not on the playlist.

awsome tutorial but you can change the scale within the cloud parameters no need for the transform node also you can select Tri planar as Michal said and instance that layer across all texture sets without having to paint anything! but thanks again!

Great tutorial overall! You can experiment with triplanar projection in fill layer of clouds mask for roughness, it should pretty much hide all the seams. I use that a lot in my props. Maybe there was a reason why you avoided it, don't know :(

most definitely haha I recorded this and then thought the same but decided to leave it all the same because I figured the painting out technique could be useful but definitely you are right, triplanar is the way to go!

For seam problem. instead of painting it a quick solution would be add filter> advanced triplanar .

tri planar will remove the seam in the mask nicely

I tried to render my character but my material layer from the second video shows up black instead. How do I fix it?

Why my substance triangulates my quad mesh...?

hi this time you're using a bitmap mask with the curvature mask, but you dont invert it with the level like you did in previous tutorial, a mistake or its normal ?

Suggestion: place the substance watermark on the LEFT side of the video next time.
