Lowering does look good in some cases. But I prefer a softer ride & avoiding flats & early tire deterioration. So, I'd rather go with taller profile & wider tires to fill in the wheel well gap along with hub centric spacers for stance. Looks better & as is more functional.
A lot of people have run into this issue. I personally have not had this but my guess is door is locked and stuck in that position or handle has broke internally. The last thing is maybe child safety is on with door locked.
It’s a tuff decision. It won’t ride terrible but it will never be like a stock suspension unless the stock one is shot, than it’s still an upgrade to change.
I'm getting ready to lower my 140 soon Pete thanks for getting all the homework done once again.
Thanks bro I can always count on your vids whenever I’m little lost
Man I’m glad it all worked out, time for a photoshoot!!
Can I see more of the interior videos for your w140 aka dr Dre ?
Next video is interior
@@petescarport Pete, Did you managed to get the door fixed? The door that you said you gonna get it fixed.
That might be in next week or two. It’s a lot of work but I plan to start it soon

S series pre 98 so cool! Got one in storage can't wait to lower it. Only 150k of the w140 were ever made.. total classic.. only going up in value
Don’t get me wrong I love the car but 150k is a lot of one model. Most cars I owned that were rare were under 1000 produced.
Those oem springs are scary asf worth putting lowering spring only to not deal them anymore
Hey hope you’re doing good.A little off topic question.I’m having trouble finding a return low pressure power steering hose.Any help is appreciated
What does the bilstien shocks do
Replaces the old stock ones without needing hydraulic connection.
I hate replacing those springs even with the oem tool, so so much power wound up in the springs, you worried about the tire rubbing at all?
Bro so scary doing this. But zero rub. Drove it several times and drives amazing. I nailed it and I was worried
I have a question....my 95 w140 driver side passenger door won't open. Any suggestions on how to approach this? Thanks in advance.

I keep saying this lol im juat afraid of killing that ride.
