Re - Bananas Years ago.... without knowing they're taboo. I took a few bananas out on a charter boat. Upon finding out I had bananas on board. The Charter Operator made me throw them overboard, then cancelled the rest of the trip ( offerer a refund ), returned to the ramp as cautiously as possible, contacted his wife enroute and they prayed for a safe return home. They took it all very seriously.

No 🍌's in the boat and when I was commercial fishing we never went to sea on a Friday. We'd leave late on a Thursday to avoid that.
