Great information mate. I hope that viewers realise how fortunate we are to have people like you sharing these valuable skills and knowledge. It doesn't feel too long ago that to learn this sort of stuff involved years of trial and error, time on the water, and listening and learning from guys at the local tackle shops (this still rings true!). Very informative and a great video. Thanks heaps as always Dean, you're a dead set legend 👍🏻🎣
Thanks legend, yes it still rings true to listen to local talk at retailers and boat ramps but youtube helps a tonne with learning before you get to a location so you are ready to go.
Great information your willing to share Dean . Should help a lot of people chasing Barra. I would like to hope one day I have an opportunity to fish for Barra.
None of us should ever stop learning, i learn almost every time i get on the water and wish i knew what. learnt by the end of my trip at the start. But thats what keeps us coming back for more
Yes i have recently unfortunately. I have found squashing the centre of the crimp with split ring pliers works for me and no failures since then. Molix are working on a solid wire set up for the future, the issue is that wire was only ever designed to hold a colorado blade, not a hook
I have done yes mate but red claw already contains so much UV that i don't feel the need, and the red on red claw is painted on so you can't enhance that but you can add red around it

Awesome, thank you!
Have you ever lost the rear treble due to the wire failures? I no longer put a rear treble on due to the wire giving away and loosing fish..
