I love your tutorials and it honestly motivated me to do more of these in Houdini!!!! I wished you guys did more of these rendering tutorials Thank you for such amazing tutorials❤️
Just a few quick Blender tips! When you cannot move your viewport anymore, other then pressing numpad "." you can also Alt+MiddleMouseClick to set the focus to the point you clicked to Also, when you finish to render an animation, you can press Ctrl + F11 to play the rendered frames in the blender internal player!
Loved the tutorial. I would only suggest to lower the light's shadow bias to the minimum so it projects more accurately. The default value is too high for some reason. With 0.001 bias it still renders super fast and looking much better.
didn't watch the whole video but you exported 2 mesh to blender, abc cannot read most of custom attribut but in cycles you can read the Cd attribut if it's set to primitive type, this way you can export only 1 mesh with a Cd attribut and use it as mask in cycles attribut node
scrubbing thru the timeline after making the animation 50 frames my skull imported mesh breaks for some reason around frame 5, disappearing says unable to import mesh as an error.
Suggestion: Highly optimized rain simulation tutorial would be dope ( exportable, probs using particle system over fluid sim ). Ref ( 3ds Max PFlow ): vimeo.com/181811180 ( 1:24 )
when you say copy this parameter how would someone know what parameter you mean i would think you could be a little more specific which would help the learning endeavor a great deal. it is entirely vague and harder to follow than if you would be specific to which parameter so its way easier to achieve without rewatching over and over to be watching your screen which slows down the word bc someone is being overly verbose when it comes time to say something relevant they just go paste it down there or change this parameter. what im saying is that its linked to visual and auditory learning pathways so one needs to learn visually while disregarding verbal cues of excellence like youre waiting for yet never show. bravo either way you slice it to the houdini mastery. would love more concise information to copy like a mofo. spark of love.
Just wow! One of the best rendering tutorial for Eevee!
Thank you, glad it was helpful!

Use gaffer hdri to set up HDRIs
You can also just bevel the cube which will look the same as subd

Does anyone know how to export particles with material to Blender with Alembic from Houdini

it also decreases in res each frame i guess it gets decimated but unsure whats the happs. bless
can we use PF track camera data firstly in Houdini then export that camera and nulls to evee???
is there a way?
Why you gamma correct *.hdr when setting World enviremont, dosen't Blender correct it automaticlly?
Oh i just notice, bellow by default it's set to Linear, you could just switch to sRGB no need to add gamma node.
I heard Arnold is coming to blender here pretty soon. That'll make it so you can import .ass files from Houdini into blender. Can't wait for that.
Us too!
3d scans library? upping the game!
If you're interested you can see more stuff on the instagram page @aixterior!
