I just layered Red Tobacco and Spicebomb Infrared EDT and it made something better than I could possibly have imagined. I am in awe of both those fragrances and the combo is mind-blowing!

It’s so fun to layer combos and find new scents. One of my favorites is Goldfield & Banks Bohemian Lime and PDM Sedley
Cool video! One of my favorite layering combos is Bvlgari Aqva Pour Homme and Encre Noire. It rounds off Encre Noire's sharp edges by giving it a marine/aquatic vibe. I also used to layer Mandarina Duck Black and Versace Pour Homme to make a poor man's Allure Homme Sport/Eau Extreme before I had AHSEE.
Excellent. As my fragrance journey as evolved, I'm troubled with the vast amount of colognes I have that are average at best. I can't seem to bring myself to getting rid of them. Layering them is an excellent way to bring new life to those.
Started layering fragrances and trying Precious Liquid Mandarine and D&G Italian Love. Oh my gosh! It really tones down that harsh grapefruit smell and mellows it out to be more orange like (mandarine of course). Really smooth and uplifting
I have a load of cheapies that I bought when I was just starting out, and I like to play the layering game with them - the best combo I've found (one that I actually repeat) is Jordan Legend and Trussardi Riflesso. It's apple pie and coffee, and it RULES in autumn.

Jo Malone Silver Birch and Lavender together with Boss The Scent le Parfum, they have a lot of common notes in the middle and base and somehow the Maninka opening gets amplified as well, love this combo

Burberry Touch is one of my favorite layering fragrances. I usually pair it up with strong sweeter fragrances. A couple of hits combining with Touch I’ve gotten complements on are Y EDP and JV x NJ Crimson. Crimson is a sleeper in and of itself.
Just layered Burberry Touch and Náutica Blue and it seems to enhance touch making them smell great. Was layers by accident trying out both fragrance and it seems to work. I’ll try touch with Y per your recommendation.

Wish I would have caught this ! I layer almost every day ! Today I combine Mancera Red Tobacco with both Jardin & Vanille Exclusif and it smelled amazing! The pear notes with the soft vanilla and the tobacco in the back worked very well ! I layer tons of Manceras ! I try to keep the concentration similar, EDP to EDP , it helps avoid one over powering the other ! Also layer the shirt to help with longevity especially in hot weather !
Aventus & T’De Hermes. Two heavy weights.

My favs layering are Lacoste lomme intense & YSL lhomme ultime, Polo red extreme & Pepe Jeans of London and finally Sauvage edt & JPG Ultramale! Interesting subject and keep up the great work Ash😀👍!
This inspired me to try out some combinations. One that I tried was Mancera Cedrat Boise and Givenchy Gentleman EDT (2017), it’s mostly Cedrat Boise but with iris and I'm a fan.
The Valentino Noir Absolu line was made for layering between themselves and with other Valentino fragrances. My go to layering combo is Valentino Noir Absolu Oud Essence with Valentino Uomo Noir Absolu or Valentino Uomo Intense.

I personally have tried only one fragrance layering in my life and that is of a cheapies Davidoff cool water intense and Zara Vibrant leather ...And I think it`s pretty intriguing combination.I personaly love it
Once I put Ck shock on early in the day and then later I spritzed on some Perry Ellis 360 red. My wife loved that combo. I do that mix all the time
Vetiver scents work very nice with fruity or/and citrusy freshies. It is no surprise that Terre d'Hermes worked fine with Creed's aventus. A very nice combination is a long lasting vetiver scent with the relatively weak performing montblanc's explorer. I use encre noir or Bvlgari's terrae escense with explorer with amazing results. BTW one of your greatest videos thus far for me.
CK One Gold + Molecule 01 = Super airy, bright, tropical, dreamy, fruity vibes. The 01 completely transforms one gold. I highly recommend!

Just tried Encre Noire and Bentley Intense.... Two Cheap fragrances united to create prefection... Love it!!!!

Tried layering up just today out of coincidence! Ferrari radiant bergamot and MB individuel. Its already near 100 degrees here in AZ so its a fresh citrusy fruity fabric softener type scent thats fantastic for casual wear.
Tried a variation and layered Terre D'Hermes Parfum with Montblanc Explorer and got 5 compliments in a single morning. Amazing combo.
D&G Italian Love & YSL Eau Fraiche. The spicy fresh dry down of Italian Love really mixes well with the musky dry down of YSL. the opening is also very nice.
I get compliments everytime I layer Tom Ford's Oud Wood with Nishane's Ambra Calabria. Very much comes off as a sweet and smokey incense. Projects like a beast and lasts all day.
Ash,here are my favourite combined pair so far....Hdp both...1725 and veni on top.A long lasting combo but mild projection.I am a man and find it beautiful, for me.Typically never mix scents but knew as alone they lack something but together they shine.
I like to try different layers alot. But my most complimented this year so far has been the nee Aqua di gio edp mixed with classic Aqua di gio. 2nd place is classic Gio with Dior homme 2020.
Something I've found works wonders with countless fragrances, is Palmers Cocoa Butter formula.
Not only does it moisturise you immensely so your juice will last longer, the sweet, chocolate/vanilla smell of it goes with a plethora of different styles of fragrance.
Doesn't work with all obviously, it'll ruin a freshie, or a fougere etc, but the rest, it just adds a gorgeous gourmand tweak to. Cheap as chips as well, a few dollars/quid for a huge tub, lasts me at least a year, but then I only use it where I spray frags. Gives a whole new dimension to already killer scents, so much so it's saved me selling on scents I'm not too keen on as I've changed my opinion completely when I've layered them with Palmers.
Oud Wood is a great one, not mad keen on that myself but when it's got a bit of chocolate cookie vibe added, it's immense, gives it a real richness and it's a lot more subtle.
Have to agree that Encre Noir is fantastic for layering. I love doing Encre Noir ala extreme with either Green Lover or Paco Rabanne Pour Homme. The Green Lover gifts Encre a fantastic creamy vanilla smoothness. Paco and Encre Noir make a nature bomb, lush green and herbal with a heavy earthy woody base.
Encre noir is the liquid smoke of the perfume world...liquid smoke you can add to any sauce to make it smokey. And that's what encre noir does, it's just basically liquid smoke in perfume form. So you can add it to any fragrance to make it smokey.
2 sprays of Carlisle (chest area under your shirt) and another behind the neck+ at least 5 sprays of prada l'homme (1 behind each ear, 1 on hair and 2 on clothing) is an office stunner for me
I used a travel sprayer to combine Givenchy gentleman cologne and Banana Republic 78 vintage green with about a 2:1 ratio respectively. I really like the combination!
Gentleman goes great with ysl la Nuit de lomme imo Also
Tom Ford lost cherry paired with ombre leather is honestly mind blowing, highly recomended combination

Also use to layer Versace Eau Fraiche and Armaf club de nuit intense as a daily for work and boyyy I had so many people ask me what I was wearing. Not sure why but they work so well together and they’re relatively cheap fragrances.

i just tried TF Ombré Leather with Montblanc Explorer and it wasnt bad, not bad at all
Sauvage edt or edp layered with armaf Sillage or silver mountain water is money. Girls love Silver Mountain Water and with Sauvage underneath, it sweetends it up and makes it amazingly more modern.
Ive always layered Dolce and Gabbana Intenso with Burberry for Men, thought they worked well together. Usually mess around with layering cheaper scents, but that was the best one I found.
D&G Intenso is looked over so much IMO,it is so awesome and unique. I would like it if it lasted longer, so that is why I add it to my hand sanitizer..all day,every day fresh!!!+

I don't really layer fragrances much but I live in a cooler climate where I put on sweaters and sweatshirts about 4 months of the year. This was probably 12 years ago now, but I haven't forgotten the time I have on Hugo Boss - Hugo and I put on a sweatshirt and added Kenneth Cole Signature. I went on a date to a comedy show that night and kept catching whiffs of myself. The combo is great!
Give Wanted by Night + Kenneth Cole Black (or vintage black) a try. They amalgamate extraordinarily well because they have a similar top note yet are still distinct enough to stand alone. However, once they settle, the way the supplement one another is incredible.
Tom Ford Noir Extreme EDP with Molecule 01, courtesy of Kevin Samuels. An amazing combo in my opinion. I’ve also been experimenting with Grey Vetiver with my other fragrances

YSL Y edp and Prada Luna Rossa Black compliment each other very well. Apple from Y really pops, while LRB gives it the very pleasant vanillic backbone.

Here’s one I recently tried BR540 mixed with Grand Soir both by MFK. Absolutely love that smell.
Givenchy Gentleman cologne on top of Guerlain Vetiver....gives Gentleman more depth and longevity. I also found a great combo by accident the other day, I threw on a hoodie I had on the night before that had Guerlain Lhomme Ideal edt but forgot about it and then sprayed Mancera Lemon Line on top of it, magical.

Just tried a combo of Mancera Cedrat Boise Intense drydown with Jimmy Choo Man Ice on top. Smells SO amazing on my skin! Super surprising and pleasing.
Watching this video late, but it was an interesting one. I almost never layer, except occasionally adding Iso E Super under certain fragrances. However, I have always wanted an Allure Homme Edition Blanche Eau Extreme with more vanilla in the base. So, occasionally I'll spray Edition Blanche over top of my favorite vanilla fragrance, Sublime Vanille. It comes close to giving the fragrance I'd envision.
I have applied some Dior savage this morning , then for some reason I have sprayed Davidoff intense on before the gym ….. nice combo 👍🏻

Ambroxan and iso-e-super are both bonus fragrances that can be added to any fragrance to create extra longevity of 3-6 hrs.I tried it on 25+ scents and it extended them greatly.💨💨💨💨💨💨

Just tried Jul Et Mad Paris Noisette Iris as a base, with One Million Lucky ON Top, turned out pretty nice.
One million lucky with its Plum, Grapefruit, Hazelnut, Honey, Orange Blossom and Patchouli combining with Noisette Iris's rose, Turkish coffee, hazelnut, peach blossom, black currant, vanilla, and Patchouli
My combo is Rasasi Fattan (Terre d'Hermès type of scent) with Nautica Voyage, works great!
I found this when I was looking for a perfume for summer: I have Invictus Victory Elixir perfume and it is too heavy for summer, and also I have CK ONE it is too light for me. Combining these two created a great spring/summer perfume. I believe reducing Invictus Victory's heaviness really works.

I've layered colognes the last 3 days for the first time ever. I'm 3/3 on unsolicited compliments:
TF Oud Wood over Aventus Creed - It drew out Creed's darker notes and balanced it with it's sweet notes - AMAZING!
Bleu de Chanel (EDP) over PDM Percival - The combination of the forward wood notes with supporting fresh notes was fantastic
Prada L'Homme over Cedrat Boise - The iris notes behind the citrus adds a nice seasonal Spring twist
Going to try the first 2!

Bently for Men Absolute with Hawas. The smokey ceder from Bently mixes nicely with the airy sweet plum from Hawas.
Cool water and starwalker or polo blue are great layering combinations
Xerjoff Naxos and Cedrat Boise. I’m not sure why, but it really amps up the projection of the Naxos and there is this wonderful black currant undertone.
My favorite combination is bottom layer Creed Green Irish Tweed top layer Dolce Gabana Intenso.... Man I get a lot of compliments wit this one
Just bought Ambercrombie and Fitch night. Liked it in the store. Waaay to hard and sweet with a normal spray. I also have Versace dylan blue wich is a heavy one for going out on a serious gentlemans night. Didn't want to throw away A&F, so i sprayed one of Versace and one of A&F on top. It softens the Dylan blue and brings more body to Abercrombie. Can't really tell if there is a comparison with an excisting fragrance. But it is more woody forest with a modest fresh flower touch. Perfect for 30/40 year old on a night out or just wanna stand out in the office
YSL LNDLH and Dior homme intense! Your welcome! Toy boy and black orchid is also amazing! The rose and orchid together makes people stop in their tracks and ask you what you are wearing! I promise!
I like to mix Abercrombie Fierce 2:1 Bvlgari Men In Black. One is light and fresh, the other one sweet, spicy, and a bit leathery. To me, they blend beautifully, it kinda enhances the leather a bit but keeps it fresh.
Finally, did you try Armani Stronger With You Absolutely and Ombré Leather? Great combo, a girl in the local perfume shop recommended it to me.
Wanted by Night, in my opinion, really layers well with something a bit more woody and leathery. I think it brings a much needed warmth and sweetness to the table!
Give Wanted by Night + Kenneth Cole Black (or vintage black) a try. They amalgamate extraordinarily well because they have a similar top note yet are still distinct enough to stand alone. However, once they settle, the way the supplement one another is incredible.
I recently tried TF ombré leather with Bleu de Chanel it was amazing! Same goes for TF ombré leather and Ysl Y EDP man it was fireeeeeeee
Hey Ash I've always wondered what your fav fragrances containing top notes of Bergamot are. Every fragrance I've owned has bergamot in them and Im just getting started so I'm wondering what are your favs from those types of fragrances. I love Mont Blanc cuz majority of the their fragrances have top notes of Bergamot so would love to see a vid about this! Keep it up man!
Cheapie layering I did on accident and now use often is Dylan Blue and Cool Water. Also Dylan Blue and BDC is nice.
I know I'm late on this piece but I just layered Rochas Man and Tequila Gold Pour Homme.
In the air it is really nice.
2 The One EDP over 1 Spicebomb Extreme (Definitely The One that we've been wanting)
1 Givenchy Gentleman 2017 over 1 La Nuit De L'homme (Cardamom in both complement each other and the Leather from Gentleman adds a more mature take on La Nuit De L'homme)
2 Acqua Di Gio Profondo over 1 Acqua Di Gio Profumo (Kinda obvious that these would go well together but the fusion of Incense from Profumo and Mineral notes from Profondo actually smells awesome... at least to my nose)
I like to do profondo + DG light blue intense, Kinda like Obvious but yea that what I do.
I like layering within a line of fragrances. Like Azzaro WBN with Most Wanted for example.

Hey Ash, I’ve seen someone post about layering within fragrance lines and lately I’ve been enjoying doing the same- Y EDP + Y P, Ombré Leather EDP + O.L. P. But I stumbled upon a great combo that I think you should try and I think you will like- Versace Eau Fraiche + Maison Francis Kurkdjian L’Homme À la rose EDP.

Glad you mentioned Dunhill Desire… I layer Mercedes Benz Club Black with Dunhill Desire Red Extreme. The ladies love it 🥰
I tried the following: 1. the one EDP and strangler with you intensely 3:1 spray ratio respectively. 2. The one and h24 1:1 ratio 3. Explorer and Terre de Hermès 2:1 ratio. I’ll try the Y EDP with Versace. Will call that VY.
YSL Y edp and Versace eau fraiche combo not bad , it lightened the Y a little bit for the hot weather .
My favorite layering pair is French Lover and Bleu de Chanel EDT. Great for spring and summer.
You should try the original Prada Luna Rosa and Dolce and Gabanna light blue!!!! Perfect summer time fresh scent
