You are a different breed Darrel. Camera angles, intro with the drone, explanation of things, calmness through. You should of started youtube channel long ago.
man thank u so much!! I wish I would have!!
Looks great buddy love the videos
Thanks!
Your channel is getting ready to blow up. Great content! Keep it up. Reminds me of early Camarata videos.
thank you so much my friend!!
You can tun down bushing with a drill press and a bolt and nut and emery paper.
Really cool water ways by your house!
Thanks for posting, you have come a long way on repairing your mini excavator. You have really brought that machine back, nice work 🙂
Thanks mike!! Been loving your videos as well!! Hope to see more of your mini ex soon but really love the build your on now u are a true craftsman
I just hope I can get my subscriber count up...this u tube thing is hard I started making videos 10 months ago and still haven’t passed 300 subs ☹️ Huge props to u and your channel!
Nice job Darrell! Its a real pain trying to operate with lose controls. Beautiful place you have there, good drone flying too 🙂👍
Haha I got a video coming out about my drone flying lol, thanks for the comment and watching!
Nice work on fixing those controls up. Thanks for posting
THANKS ANTS!!
Thanks for creating this video. I have an ihi 12g. Same problem with linkage. Worn at top like yours but also down at the valves. I think the base of the stick is different than yours but I will take it apart again and try the same trick as you. Keep on the videos are great.
thanks man!! i hope u can get it fixed up!!
I've used a 3D printer to make bushes, washers, spacers and other items on some of my equipment. I used PETG filament and it stands up to quite a bit of wear. I've even used it to make a bush for the dipper end of a JCB that was worn and egg shaped.
That’s pretty cool how long do they usually last?
@@TheHomePros6221 They are surprisingly robust, especially if they are printed with nylon or carbon fibre filled filament, but cheaper filaments are usually sufficient. The small JCB excavators come with nylon bucket/dipper bushes as standard. It would have been very straightforward to design and print a bushing for your control levers. I got a 1000mm tilt bucket for my Chinese digger last week and it has quite a bit of slop from new. I've just printed shims for the linkages, and it's inexpensive, for example a 2.8mm thick x 54mm diameter shim for a 30mm pin has cost less than 10p to make.
Great intro, getting some Camarata vibes! That joystick sure was worn out.
Haha thanks man! For some reason the bushing was missing I have no idea why but it’s good now, thanks for watching!
@@TheHomePros6221 it was probably worn thru and fell out.
It could have but the other side had very little wear, someone was def in there before and it looks like they took it out or lost it who knows? If my repair doesn’t last I’ll order a new bushing from ihi
Love the intro!
thank you very much!
Another great video, it going to be better than new
thank you Rick!!
nice improvement
Thanks a lot🙂🙂
You need JB weld, not that harbor freight epoxy, great job on that repair.
I wanted to but that’s all I had on hand
This seems like the way to go over the chinese units. A used one of these with ~1k hours seem to be around the same price as the chinese minis after shipping and other fees. Built much better and yanmar diesel engine, cant beat that.
You are 100% correct and also these are much more comfortable to operate, on the Chinese units your arms are stretched way forward so your back hurts and these are so much smoother and not so jerky like the Chinese units
Im still gonna buy that thing soon 😂😂 i didnt forget!!
Haha don’t know if I wanna sell it now lol really like this machine 😊
Nice job, how many hours on the excavator before it starts having issues?
This has been a pretty good mini ex so far, it had a really rough life as a rental and has 1800 hrs
Nice work Darrel. What's the difference between a 9 VX and your 9 VX-3? I was watching a Utube video of a 9 VX-3 but it was electric.
i’m honestly not sure I can’t remember
Great video what state you live in
thank you James phenix city AL
O ok iam from west Virginia
Did you consider using a PVC collar?
well I think it would be to big
@@TheHomePros6221 There's a smaller "hot water" type pvc.
I'm in the Caribbean, and it's used here. Maybe it's not in your market.
What software are u using to edit video. I need something easy to use
Video pad editor by NCH
@@TheHomePros6221 is that android or apple
@@jtsokiehobbyandadventures6666 I have it on my desktop computer
What size and brand is that mini
think it’s a 2200 lb ihi 9vx-3
what does a machine like this cost
@@TheHomePros6221 is that a chinese mini excavator? I see some 10'000$ used... so probably not chinese.
@@woodyphyseter3671 no it’s Japanese and has a yanmar engine I paid 9,100
Is that gas or diesel?
Diesel
