      +andromisilibrober Our problem with it, is that they're too inflated. Having an Ego is ok, but when it's self inflated to his level, it gets annoying. And his personality is pretty snooty and arrogant. He brags a lot also. That's our problem.

      @whoareyou1332 8 лет назад +123

      I completely agree. Personally, I thought that was actually a pretty horrible noise. Being able to play something really fast doesn't mean that you are playing it well. This is a perfect example of that. There are a lot of truly great violinists in the world who have a great deal less in the way of ego. The true greats are there to service the music, not to inflate their own egos.

    But seriously, he clearly thinks very highly of himself and is pretty arrogant. Which is not a good mentality to have as a musician or performing artist. I'm disappointed that he's being given this platform and being praised by the BBC as it' stunting his artistic growth.

    This guy said he doesn't get critisim. INCORRECT. When you play the video in slow motion, you will notice he doesn't play every note, doesn't play the correct notes, and the pizzicato sounds like a NIGHTMARE. Oh, and if you can play it slowly, it DEFINITELY doesn't mean you can play it quickly, as proved IN THIS VIDEO. He also said he wants to inspire people, but yet he sells violins for more than anyone can pay for. At least the person before him made the record and PLAYED THE CORRECT NOTES. The entire thing sounded like a glissando. (His smile is also the cringiest thing ever). Additionally, he said "always moving", but yet he wasn't really moving.

  • @陳敬智-s2f
    @陳敬智-s2f 6 лет назад +503

    He does not deserve the world record.
    1 - it's not a violin, it has 5 strings
    2 - it's electric, this eliminates many of the requirements in playing a violin
    3 - almost none of the notes are accurate or in tune or rythm, thus he never achieved jack

It's not just good. It's good to the infinite degree. It's so much goodness that you can't contain it. your body can't hold it. Your entire body shakes and shudders in a cosmic orgasm of bliss. This record cannot be validated. First of all, I've never heard of a five stringed violin. Also, his intonation is off for the majority of notes, and further more he is actually making note and rhythmic errors. If you're going to try to break the current world record, you have to play on an ACTUAL violin, and play ALL the notes correctly. It's only fair.
