Years ago, at the annual CAAS convention in Nashville, my Dad and I got to hang out with Stephen Bennett on several occasions. He played many songs for us, and told us stories about them, what inspired him to write them, explained the tunings, etc. I have been around a lot of great musicians, but he is truly a genius. Not only that, he is absolutely one of the most pleasant people I have ever been around in my life. Super nice guy, really good energy. And, did I mention he's a musical genius?
What a wonderful human being. His existence fills our ears with the most wonderful sounds. Thank you for everything you do Stephen. You can always make my day just that much bettter
It actually reminds me of Oregon. When a song can do that to you, you know its great! I am so glad I found out about Stephen. He seems like such a chill guy
Every detailed note and point of percussion is simply brilliant. Stephen is almost impossible to copy because he is an outlier. The music is simply beautiful but it is incredibly difficult to reproduce. I love to listen his gift to mankind...
Holy crap. I've heard that song through Pandora before and just assumed it was a seperate bass guitar. Will be looking into Stephen in more depth soon!
This piece remind me of Chrono cross... It would fit perfect, in a old school r.p.g when you are at a peacefull village next to a beach. I love this song ! can stop listening to it
Still listening 17 years later. Thank you for this absolute gem.
