Everything about the Cipriani is magical, from the moment you step into the wooden speedboat (Call #9) that takes you to the hotel...your world is transformed. My beautiful memories of the BCH will forever remain in my heart. Viva Venezia!!! Thank you for this wonderful video!
Thank you for this post. I could feel the tears fall as I watched it. So many wonderful memories! This was the last trip my partner and I took (a month in Italy) before he died. That was several years ago. As I mentioned to you before, I retire from pediatrics soon and so will travel solo. 😏
Thank you so much for this beautiful video...very well done! I miss it so much. I was there decades ago back in 1986! I plan on going back. It’s on my bucket list, as I am now 65! Time sure does fly by!
You ask for best hotel memory..my wife and I enjoyed the Royal Hawaiian via Tauck Tours years ago. Hotels can be special mile markers in our lives..nice series..keep up the good work!
Your videos are so relaxing that I actually feel I'm there. You have an excellent way of showing all of us to explore these luxurious hotels. You make these videos feel that you only live once and life's to short to not enjoy what Our plant has to offer. Thank you very much.
There is no place on Earth like Venice. She is sublime. I loved the chandeliers, the old world charm of the hotel, that somehow also managed to have a modern uncluttered feel. I bet that garden smells like Heaven.
Lovely. Delightful. Wonderfully done. Sweet ride you arrived in!! All as promised!😃 Cherry on top? The serenading at the end of the clip. Love it!! I agree about the cruise ships. I don't think they belong in the Caribbean either! Thank you for taking us along!!
What a huge difference your new camera makes! Adds immensely to video enjoyment. Love the skillful editing and inclusion of ambient sound. Thank you for sharing your experiences.
Just exquisite! I sadly have not been back to This magical place since the early to mid sixties! sigh Your vlogs are beautifully executed! Well done to you! That was delightful thank you kindly! You took me right back to the last time I was there!
Your videography is spectacular. Your descriptions are amazing. I can't say enough about you. Wonderful to see Venezia again. It's been a long time since I visited Italia. Thank you.
Ahhh LTE your channel is my escape from realityand it's growing fast alleluia. This is a stunning hotel, that kinda hotel children/and teens are not welcome.. and i love it
I've never wanted to visit Venice because the thought of water lapping up against or under the buildings makes me imagine that they are moldy and damp inside, especially during the winter. However, the Cipriani looks far from moldy! Truly a world class hotel and your suite was gorgeous. Yes, I think I could spend a week there! Your new camera captured the hotel and grounds beautifully. Kudos, Dr LTE!
"Unfortunately, this is Venice as well. Large cruise ships don't fit in the centuries old decor". You could not have said it more correctly. The cruise industry, and the passengers they bring are the scourge of true hospitality and experiences. I will always prefer a destination where cruise ships don't go and their passengers do not alight. Sadly, I had hoped Venice would rid themselves of this menace.
I completely agree. I understand Venice did attempt to ban the large cruise ships but the Italian Govt. stupidly over ruled them - what the fu*k were they thining!! If you go off season - Jan to March it's much better, I would never in a million years even think of going to Venice, or for that matter Florence or Rome, in Summer!!
Venice is beautiful and so is the Belmond Hotel Cipriani. I don't really mind the old world look of the hotel what's more important for me is having the best hotel holiday experience as provided by the amazing hotel staff, And I really loved the gardens at the back of the hotel,it's very lovely, they have a duck poond & vineyard! I like that it's far enough from the hordes of tourists from the cruise ships bc it can be a bit crowded and noisy if one stays at the city center. Thanks again Doctor LTE for bringing us along to Venice .
I really appreciate your videos! I was in Venice twice in less than a year. The second time we stayed for a week in a Best Western (funky but pleasant in a bohemian sort of way) just behind San Marco. Our room was on the ground level and positioned over a bridge and canal (do those canals reek!). It had a tall window that swung outward which allowed us to perch on the sill and watch the people stream by as we sipped our wine. It was like a set from one of those 1950s MGM musicals like An American In Paris or Gigi. I never heard of the Cipriani! If you want a beautiful hotel off-the-beaten-path I would suggest the Castello Del Nero, a 5-star luxury hotel/spa in the heart of Tuscany. It's a 12th century castle converted into a luxury hotel nestled in rolling hills covered with groves of olive trees and grape orchids. It is beautifully landscaped and the air is redolent with the scent of wild lavender. Talk about heaven on earth!
My nephew's parents and older brother were born in Italy. He is married to my niece. She spent one year in Italy to go to high school. Nice and relaxing video. I heard that they are having second thoughts about letting cruise ships into Venice. Did you see other rooms at the hotel? When I go into a room I open the curtains, doors, cupboards and drawers to see if there are any little treasures I can keep. I would love to go to Italy.
Another great and comprehensive video once again. This inspired my next year's trip, hopefully on a tour of Italy's luxury hotels and historic cities. Is it safe to assume this was filmed in October? The weather seems pretty sunny when all the websites say Oct-Nov is wet. Keep up the good work. Looking forward to more Luxury hotel videos from the expert 👌
I visited the Belmond Hotel Cipriani in September. I was there for 3 days, and it rained 2 of the 3 days (the clip was made during the sole sunny day ;). Right now, the weather in Venice is summer like and unusual warm and sunny for October. But don't worry, even in the rain, there's something magical about Venice ...
We were in Venice the week of the Clooney’s wedding. We had dinner at the Cipriani and while George was staying there pre wedding they actually got married at the Aman on the GC where Amal was staying.
As you LTE, make the best hotel videos can I suggest Belmond’s Grand Hotel Timeo, Sicily? Belmond have no idea how to make professional videos of their properties so we have to rely on you :-)
It is so great to actually see an hotel tour with a beautiful building, beautiful rooms and beautiful mostly elegant people around. Not the entitled stereotypical horribly dressed american tourists seen in so many other videos.
Lovely video. Hotel Cipriani is one of my favorites. The Belmond Brand is one of the best, I think. Did you find that you were kinda away from everything? Is that something you like? On your travels and filming, do you set aside days just for filming? Or, do you integrate your personal days with videoing for your channel? Like the new camera. One last thing.... Did you go to Harry's Bar for a Bellini?
Thank you. I agree that the Belmond brand is amongst the best in the world (my top 5: Aman, Soneva, Six Senses, Belmond, and Rosewood). Next week, I upload a video of my favorite Belmond hotel: Belmond Hotel Caruso on the Amalfi coast (one of the most spectacular hotels in the world ... incredible property). The Belmond Hotel Cipriani is not really away from everything: it's only a 5 min by boat to Piazza San Marco and the boats run every 20 minutes, 24 hours a day. I loved that the hotel was an oasis of peace and tranquility away from Venice over-crowded center Regarding the filming: I integrate the filming in my leisure time. In fact, I like to film (and I feel I am getting better in it, although I am not a Scorcese of course :-). For example, when my friends relax at the pool or beach, I just walk around and film a bit. Unfortunately, I did not visit Harry's Bar for a Bellini coctail.
Spotted @ 18:03 the world famous red suitcase soaking up the luxury in Venice. When I visited Venice I stayed at the Hotel Danieli and loved it but think I would like this better if I ever return. I like the idea of being close to the crowds but not in them at all times.
It is difficult to find the perfect place. Here for ex. the swimmingpool is saltedwater, today it will be impossible. It's more refreshing the normal one. I said a huge pool. What a pity. This summer I had another salted in the Costa Brava, la Gavina, also because is an old property. And the dark marble in bathroom, I prefer clear just to see how clean is. Have you noticed that the first day is clean and the following days till you leave they do a poor work?
Mmmm this is slightly different from the zero star hotels I normally stay in when travelling. Most of them are torture chambers where you cant wait for the sun to come up, mostly due to noise from outside such as in Cairo and Istanbul
I too was lucky enough to visit Venice and stay at the Cipriani Hotel before the cruise ship scourge ruined that city. Even George Clooney could not keep the overbearing cruise ships out of the photos of his wedding. By the way Clooney did not marry at this hotel as was stated in this video. He married in the Venetian city hall and the had a ceremonial wedding and reception at the Aman Canal Grande . Prior to his wedding he stayed at the Cipriani for a few days.
And yes, let me tell you a couple more things. You did a fantastic job, of course your food photography at dinner was not that bright, but how could you do this other than with really professional-very expensive-equipment. But what you did with what you did have at your disposition, a simple Canon G7 Powershot, blows my mind. It must have blown the mind of the hotel also for otherwise they would not have done the deal with you. But I would really like to thank you personally for this wonderful video, also compliment you on the choice of the wonderful music, and all the other details. You, and other young people like you, who are very talented, are setting a new standard in the world of advertisement where not 'big contracts' are what counts but sense of detail, incredible craftmanship (not sold as 'professional' though) and wonderful young spirit. Thank you to have enriched my life ... while I would not spend almost 800$ for this hotel. I am a hotel trainer for 5-star hotels since 20 years, and I can tell you they also only cook with water and just overprice their little shit for the rich who want to throw their money out of the window. In every little 3-star family hotel in Italy you get same or better food and certainly a more personal approach to YOURSELF-the customer. Let us be honest, what value does it have for you and me if XXYY cinema celebrity has stayed there before?
So tell me...How can I be your assistant and travel with you staying at these oh so lovely properties, eating that luscious looking food and floating in the beautiful pools, smelling the flowers and all the rest? I'll even sleep on a cot! LOL
@the Luxury Travel Expert I am On wheel chair do they have disability access in the Hotel? also I will fly to Venice airport another concern that how I will be able to get in the boat and from the boat to the hotel docks? I look forward to your reply please thank you and the video is good and it has full coverage what I was concern about it expect for my condition in this matter.
Perfect review. I don't doubt to agree with you, that camera justifies your praise for it. I bet it costs an arm and a leg to lodge there a night, doesn't it? I like the interior of the bathroom. Thank you sir
When TLTE is panning his camera left or right at anything but the slowest speeds, the picture is being delivered in a sort of 'staccato' effect. Is there a portable video camera which doesn't do this?
Ah right, totally 'forgivable' given that you mentioned it was your first outing with that camera. It's just that if you were looking at a specific object on the screen as opposed to taking-in a wider view, you could see the effect I mentioned. Otherwise, and as many others have mentioned .. delightful.
Great video - A once Beautiful, Venetian dominated City, but sadly not now - @ about 24 minutes that scene exemplifies all that is sad, even tragic about mass tourism!!! Homes occupied by the relatively wealthy and rented out to paying guests at high rents means, as elsewhere in the Western World, local Citizens unable to afford and remain!!!! Tragic!
I watch a lot of your vids and they are outstanding I can afford to stay in nice places but I always find the same draw back and that the food is to fancey I like plain stuff i am not into fancey stuff plain Egg and Chip s or a roast joint with the trimmings is what i like I kid you not I go out of flash hotels looking for mcdonalds or a KFC because thats what I like

Robert Youngquist Sorry for you're loss
So sorry for your loss.
Loss is always difficult but the blessing of great memories helps.
I join the others in condolences for your loss. Perhaps you'll be joined again on the Other Side.
Sorry to read about this. I do hope your memories have left a footprint in your heart forever. Warm regards
Thank you so much for this beautiful video...very well done! I miss it so much. I was there decades ago back in 1986! I plan on going back. It’s on my bucket list, as I am now 65! Time sure does fly by!
Oh, those glass chandeliers are just absolutely gorgeous! And the garden really is a grat addition to this hotel. Beautiful and peaceful.
You ask for best hotel memory..my wife and I enjoyed the Royal Hawaiian via Tauck Tours years ago. Hotels can be special mile markers in our lives..nice series..keep up the good work!

I was fortunate to travel from Venice to Paris on the Orient Express...magic. Exquisite
I've watched a several videos of your work , they are all marvelous , but this one is divine .
Thank you !!!
Took the little speedboat here for dinner last October. A wonderful gem. A world away from cruise ship tourist crowds. Worth every cent
What a huge difference your new camera makes! Adds immensely to video enjoyment. Love the skillful editing and inclusion of ambient sound. Thank you for sharing your experiences.
Very nice; well done. Perhaps your best video yet. The cruise ship added a nice touch of comedy.
I've been to Italy back in 1984.Rome,Naples,Florence,Venice,and Milan were all part of the itinerary.Loved it!
Thank you for taking us along I have enjoyed this video very much, looking forward to the next one! 😍☀️
My next clip will feature the Belmond Hotel Capriani's mindblowing sister hotel in the Amalfi coast
That marble bath! And I love The Merchant of Venice products.
Thank you.
Thank you for your fine comment
This was about the next best thing other than being there in person . Enjoyed it !
I agree.
Ahhh LTE your channel is my escape from realityand it's growing fast alleluia.
This is a stunning hotel, that kinda hotel children/and teens are not welcome.. and i love it
The shot of Canpanièl de San Marco (the brick tower in St Mark's Square) is exemplary - well done!

Indeed, that floating hotel is a major eyesore.
Ian Hamilton unfortunately or fortunately it also brings in tourist revenue .

If you go off season - Jan to March it's much better, I would never in a million years even think of going to Venice, or for that matter Florence or Rome, in Summer!!
One good thing coming out of the Covid19 pandemic is that cruise lines have received an enormous set back.
@@TheVaughan5 I bet most cruise passengers would not use your low class language.
Will be in Venice on Monday! Thank you for posting this! Salve!
Enjoy your trip! Weather forecast looks great!
I think I remember staying here back in July 2007 and i had the best gnocchi pasta i ever tasted
Amazing shot and the musics!!!!!
Fantastic pictures and top impressions! And as always with the right sound 😃 Is there a playlist of it?
I visited this hotel in 1960 as a kid and I still remember the pool!!! We only came to look and I wanted to jump in.
EXCELLENT Review of Hotel Cipriani !!
Cipriani is one of my favorite properties!.....It's on par with Hotel Bel Air and The Peninsula, Hong Kong.
Thank you. Hotel Bel Air and The Peninsula HK are great properties indeed!
Gracias por compartir sus viajes !!!!! Ya quiero ir a cada uno de los hoteles que visita :)

your channel added to my favorites!!!!!
Its fabulous and very A List but I do love the smaller boutique hotels on the Grande Canal more
Belated congrats on getting to 100K subs! Beautiful vlogs and tasteful channel.

Sorry I'm late for the Venice Red spotting, but just got back from NYC. Red looks very happily situated at the world famous Cipriani :-)
Welcome back. Hope you enjoyed NYC.
another beautifull video ........
Never been there but I hope in the future I can visit this place also.
My news is the same still
💪
Gratidão por tão belo trabalho !

My dream place wow.

Woww... what a beautiful hotel...!!!
this and the St-Regis hotel in Venice I would say are the top in my opinion
nice, but I prefer the smaller hotels like Bauer Grunwald and Gritti Palace where I stayed with a lot of pleasure
lovely!
AMAZING!!

Hello The Luxury Travel Expert.
I was in Venice too
Love ur videos. Thank You 🇮🇳
Can you (someday) do a review of Burj al Arab in Dubai? Please? I love your video, they are awesome!
There's a small chance I will stay at the Burj Al Arab in February
Make it a big chance. I check out its website and RUclips from time to time just for the heck of it. I do hope to make it there "someday"!
I visited Burj Al Arab in 2008, not for stayed , but only for had dinner in one of restaurants there. It was about US$ 300 per person.
So tell me...How can I be your assistant and travel with you staying at these oh so lovely properties, eating that luscious looking food and floating in the beautiful pools, smelling the flowers and all the rest? I'll even sleep on a cot! LOL
Beautiful😃👍👍
Beautiful hotel and many good memories of my stay there !
Большое спасибо! Видео очень красивое!!!!!!!!!😘😘😘😘😘😘
Perfect review. I don't doubt to agree with you, that camera justifies your praise for it. I bet it costs an arm and a leg to lodge there a night, doesn't it? I like the interior of the bathroom. Thank you sir
Thank you.
Maybe Paris has spoiled me but the hotel looks very plain and rather unimpressive.
I'm not a photographer. How do you keep the camera so steady when you seem to be walking as you film?!
The camera has a very good stabilizer and I also have a steady hand, I believe
Francis Bagbey was thinking exactly the same, great job..
thx
Buen video
Hermoso ❤
Very expensive hotel. I visited with my parents in the early 1960s. And I still remember. Just went for 10 minutes.
Danieli ? Ma che Danieli, prossima visita a Venezia vado a questo , il Cipriani !
Вам отели должны платить за такую красивую рекламу и бесплатно предоставлять номера 😁😁😁😁 все очень красиво 👍🏼
When TLTE is panning his camera left or right at anything but the slowest speeds, the picture is being delivered in a sort of 'staccato' effect. Is there a portable video camera which doesn't do this?
The problem has been solved ... I was filming in the wrong fps (frames per second)
Ah right, totally 'forgivable' given that you mentioned it was your first outing with that camera. Is the trip on the boat free? Also if you dont stay in the hotel?
Beautiful
the transition frames at 00:20 is reminiscent of the Impressionists
Cuando será mi momento❤❤❤❤se q los sueños se cumplen 👍

Holy cow that's a lot of people!!
is it just empty the rest of the year then? that's freaky considering its size
I watch a lot of your vids and they are outstanding I can afford to stay in nice places but I always find the same draw back and that the food is to fancey I like plain stuff i am not into fancey stuff plain Egg and Chip s or a roast joint with the trimmings is what i like I kid you not I go out of flash hotels looking for mcdonalds or a KFC because thats what I like
Are the transfers by boat included in the room rate?
