I have a neighbor who is in a similar boat as yours, also in her 60's whose mind has projects that her body can't fulfill. Of course, she has had heart surgery two or three years ago and is also dealing with lung issues which impede her ability to successfully complete tasks, so I do what I can to lend her a helping hand.

At my age, this is my life! My mind still feels like it’s in my 20’s, but now that I’m in my late 40’s, I feel my age at times, especially after a fire call! “Prime of life,” my butt! standing ovation! Every word was what I felt starting at 58 when this neuromuscular disease hit and has become my anthem. Arms too weak to dye hair so gleaming white paired with sensible shoes and cane make me invisible to all but animals. The bathrobe is perfect as I wonder do I deserve to have new clothes so uncertain of the end, being invisible, little holes, mismatch doesn't mean these clothes are not perfectly good...just as I am.

I'm nearly 63 & in a wheelchair ♿& my spine isn't getting any better. I need a caregiver, too. But, all my life, I felt 'less than', not anymore! Clothes & makeup do wonders! UR WORTH IT! BUY NEW CLOTHES, MAKEUP & EARRINGS! Don't have to be new; thrift stores are great! Almost everything I buy, is from a thrift store! I get dressed & fixed up just for myself. I open the curtains & let the sunshine ☀ in! I dare you girl! Go for it! Be happy 😊! We're not getting younger, so embrace getting older. Even w/a cane or in a wheelchair! WE ARE WORTH IT!!

I can relate on so many levels! When I had bad colds I'd cough so much that I'd fart. Now? It happens way to easy.
Fantastic is always! Luckily it 56 I'm still not feeling a lot of this yet however I have noticed that suddenly I do find it hard to sleep through the night. Like I've got insomnia all of a sudden. Aside from a rare standalone night of insomnia here and there in my life I've never suffered from insomnia. I also now wake up anywhere between 4 and 5 a.m. anymore. I've always been an early riser but early as in 6:30 or 7 am. Even if I try I cannot get back to sleep and often I feel wide awake and ready to go at 4 or 5 in the morning and I don't know what's up with that. My eyesight as far as my vision from far-off has always been bad so I will probably never be able to see a decline in that that doesn't seem normal for me and I'm sure the rest of it will hit me in time. When it does I plan to continue my normal bit of taking everything in stride and looking at it from a sense of humor like you do.
If we don't laugh, we cry - and laughing is far more fun!

Another great video, parody here is on point. Many people can get half the comical lyrics for songs then it is a bit rough around the edges as they wing the remainder, but like always, you have it spot on. Very well done!

Another great one, Shirley! Yes, aging sucks and I became actually a little bit scared when I started to notice certain things I start to have problems doing, weight gain, wrinkles, falling asleep in front of the tv like my grandma used to and so on but its all a normal process. I just accept, that I might get things done a little slower or it takes 2 days work in the garden where it was 1 in past times - who cares, I still get it done. I started to work out a bit to keep muscle strength, eat even more healthy, take as much care of my mental and physical health as possible, greet every new wrinkle as a lived experience and a just enjoy my life.

I hear you Shirley… because I turned the volume up high 😂. Yesterday was our weekly ‘Blob Out/Pygama day’ . We had an unexpected visit from our grand nephews and niece 2yro-10yro. We were frantically cleaning the house and ourselves, and preparing snacks before they arrived. We love to see the kids, they live about an hour away, because of covid we’ve hardly seen them these past two years. It was a lovely visit but we were exhausted!!! 😂😂😂. I slept in until 6.25am this morning (shameful, I know) did the laundry, had breakfast, cleaned the house, started prepping dinner and now I need a nana nap hehehe.

Shirley, I found you some weeks ago, watched many of your videos, and I think this one is the best of all of them. It always has the same effect on me whenever I watch it which means it must be exceptional. I love your faces in it, your image makes me laugh at the very first moment I look at you :D.
